GTA 5 does not start

Hi there,

You have ENB installed. This intereferes with how RAGE hooks into the game.

In order to prevent any crash, you need to launch GTAV without RAGE. Once you are in story mode fully, you can ALT + TAB out and launch RAGE.

Let me know if this helps,

Charlie

Thanks, it worked. But I have one more question that I personally cannot answer myself. How do I remove the flicker of the screen closer to the edges, while I am approaching a bright object? It does not depend on what kind of object it is, for example, flashing lights.

Nice to hear.

You may want to play around with your visualsettings.dat file.

Specifically, the following values:

  • car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on
  • car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on

If it still happens, it might be a graphics modifications you installed; I wouldn't be too sure unfortunately. 🙂

You most likely misunderstood me, my problem is not that I want to make my flashing lights even brighter. When I turn the camera on them, the screen starts to blink disgustingly at the edges, as if adding a certain effect.

The reason I mentioned that was because it may be caused by a high value. 🙂

It's hard to know without seeing what you mean, but like I said it is most likely something you've installed.

It worked again. Thanks. But I would like to use bright flashing lights without this effect.
