boom gates / gates opening times

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

as you might notice, there are many gates and boom gates (or pikes, whatever you might call it in english/american) throughout San Andreas to access several areas, such as parking garages, the port, fort zancudo or the movie studios.

There are different types:

automatic gates - open when the car is in front (port area)

manual gates - you can walk throught, close automatic after a few seconds (e.g. Vespucci PD Backyard)

boom gates without any attachments - open automatic or by pressing left mouse button, when in front (e.g. port entrance, parking garages)

boom gates with lights - don´t open no matter what you do

boom gates with stop sign - only partly open (noose base exit working, fort zancudo randomly, movie studios never...)

I know, many people tried to make all these open up but until now I don´t have any positive feedback found about it.

Now my question is: Can you at least make the manual gates open up for a longer time or prevent them from closing?

I don´t want to scratch my car anymore to get throught them. Would add a bit realism (get out the car, walk through to open, drive through and then close it).

Any idea?

Life has no happy end.

It´s always the death...
