It amazes me how people people seem to think in some cases that their fix works for anyone else, and if it doesn't then you need to reinstall your game that was already working in the first place! This was the last time my game worked (Started new log on 12/14/2021 7:05:05 PM.879) and after this (GTA V SCRIPT HOOK (build Dec 20 2021, v1.0.2545.0)) as always, IT WORKED NO MORE. Back to another 2 to 3 months of troubleshooting. And some of you guys don't just get it, if something was working before, then it doesn't anymore after you touched it. YOU BROKE IT, it is not my fault that my previously working game is not working after some of these STUPID updates!!!!!! Don't tell me to uninstall and reinstall, JUST DON'T, I'm not in the mood for foolishness! If it was working before then stops working after an update, it's the STUPID update that broke it! NOT ME, DON'T BLAME ME!!! And modding is what we are for, don't come and tell me "well, yeah RPH just works fine on a freshly installed GTA V" Yeah my dude? Is that what we are here for? Not me, If modding is not the main part of LSPDFR then why are wasting our time here just for some role change? Tell me that. My modded game worked till 12/14/2021. That is after the CScenarioPoint-Patch.asi hiatus. When this happens, NOBODY has a solution, but EVERYONE has something to say! If I can't help someone fix his problem I keep my mouth SHUT! People telling you on here to reinstall your game, WHAT? You how many mods some of us has??? In the past I had GTA V WORKING, all modded REAL VEHILCLES, YEAH WORKING! A stupid update for a 10 year old game broke EVRYTHING.

 

This is not innovation, updates used to makes things better! Not restrict usage, break stuff or add stupidness nobody asked for in the first place! And to all you LSPDFR modders, in the future please tell us with every LSPDFR update what mods we need to remove, update or whatever. Cause NOBODY runs vanilla GTA V when using LSPDFR!

This is a forum, nobody gets paid to help here, we do this in our free time.

How should he have known that your .asi software causes a crash?

When you search the problem for 2 months, why not starting a new gta folder?

Its always the same, if a gta update comes out, the developers need time to update their software, the most are doing it in their free time without paying.

Some software is no longer under development, so stuff works no more.

What do you mean with everybody has sth to say? This is the internet, welcome. Also, you posting in a forum, what do you expect? Post your problem and everybody instant knows the fix?

 

You also have the oppurtunity to not upgrade the game, you have to block the gta 5 update.

Same as you, Charlie was of not much help either. You don't know what you are talking about! GTA V removed the option to play the game offline, you can get away with it for a few days then you MUST update. I've been in this longer than you have been gaming your entire life. You don't have a solution, please I don't have time for your opinions.

        CScenarioPoint-Patch was recommended on previous versions. As of GTA V build 
        v2189 (Cayo Perico heist) it is no longer required, and if present will cause 
        the game to crash. If you previously installed this file, make sure to remove it.

No problem I'm not mad of people trying to help, I'm mad at constant updates breaking previously working mods or in this case the entire game. We had great modders who left because if these updates and people blaming them. It's not their fault, this is a Rockstar/GTA V problem and it drags us down with it. My LSPDFR problem, if you're providing these mods which I VERY MUCH like. Testing them to see if they're working with the latest GTA V update or latest LSPDFR, would be great. I gave you an example of how PNWParksFan did it with Coastal Callouts updates, "heads up guys, remove CScenarioPoint-Patch.asi" but that's him. I will do my part and post the solution again if I ever find one.

Though, these are forums.

If you are going to post on a public forum, you need to expect public responses. Everyone and anyone can reply, and you have to expect that.

There seems to be a notion that people may've told you the wrong things, though like I said I'm not following, but just appreciate that someone is attempting to help out.

 

On a personal note, I understand your frustration, but don't take it out on other people. 

Don't drag other people down to bring yourself up.

 

We all enjoy modding, we all understand the issues it brings, and these public forums have resolved hundreds of issues.

Let's value the help people give, and be a community. Because that's what we are, and that's why people volunteer time to help others. ❤️
