I have reinstalled this thing at least 4 times, still problem persists, the only plugin to GTA i have is LSPDFR, not sure why this is causing this,  i finished the first mission then it goes onto the next section, if i try to skip it sometimes the video freezes, sometimes it goes to a black screen where the loading icon runs in the right lower corner after awhile it completes and dumps me at the house where i need to steal a car and finish the mission
 

The first time i played it and it worked i was able to save my progress on the phone but i never get back to that stage again when i exit out and restart the game.  It always starts back at the guy at the psychiatrists office and I'm lucky if the game will play again

Running Windows 10 with all the updates current and nothing special on the machine, everything is stock, 

Dell XPS 8940 with 128gb ram, 512gb SSD and 1 TB Secondary hard drive

I do have GTA 5 and LSPDFR installed on the D:\ Drive which shouldn't matter considering i have more space there

Rage Settings

Windowed mode is turned on

Plugin Timeout Threshold is set to 60000

Running LSPDFR on startup

Everything else in settings is set to default

 

Installed the following

I also put the exceptions into Free AVG for the folders and the proper programs, although i don't have one for RAGEPluginHook.exe since its not an installed app, i have the folder excluded 

I looked through the log file but unless I'm missing something it seems to be okay.

You need to be at a certain point from missions to play lspdfr without problems.

 

I recommend to install a 100% savegame

Thanks for this, i installed the game save and voila!  No more trying to get through the beginning
