So I installed CHP mega pack along with Compulite, EUP Law and Order, ELS among others.  I cannot get them to work.  When I hit F4 and do a mod reload, it does not change anything.  Is there a key I need to click to specifically get them to show or did i do something wrong?

 

I have gone through Youtube and other mod sites and followed all the install videos and nothing is working.  

 

i am not tech savvy when it comes to computers and gaming, but can follow step by step instructions.  please help thanks

Okay, first of all, it's not exactly clear if your mods are loading in the first place (you should not need to do a reload with F4 console command every time)

So assuming they're loading, each of those mods you named have their specific control buttons. I'll list a few incase you haven't already tried:-

1) Compulite - Get in a police car and Hold E. When on foot, Press (no need to hold) Left Control + Numpad 0

2) ELS - J key to cycle through different lighting modes (Stages 1,2,3) and G to toggle the siren. Make sure you have ELS compatible vehicles, and their respective XML files

If you don't understand or follow the highlighted part, you may want to check out THIS VIDEO 

3) With EUP Law and Order, you need the EUP Menu to be able to use them. The corresponding keys to bring up the menu is F11 by default.

4) About the CHP mega pack, was that a replace or add-on set of vehicles? If they were add-on, you would need to edit your LSPDFR configuration files to add those vehicles so you can see them in game. But there's a lot of assumptions going on here, so please confirm whether they were add-on and we shall walk you through the further stuff.

 

Till then, try the other things mentioned above and see if you get some of them to work.

 

Ricky, ok I have tried.  none are loading.  I have tried all of my F keys.  besides F4, the rest start and stop video recording the game.  As far as compatible vehicles, I stick with those that say ELS on them.  hell for some reason, I cannot even get my emergency lights to go Signal 2, Lights with No siren.  (WASDEY keys work I know for sure)  I thought I had done something wrong with the install of both Hook and Game and I had uninstalled and reinstalled both.

 

 

post your ragepluginhook.log from the main gta folder.

your installed vehicles can be spawned by hitting F4 and type: spawn <vehiclename>

@OfficerChris1 tried F4 spawn.  Error message states spawn is invalid command.  attached is log.  i have no idea what any of it means.. good luck and thank you

ok i misunderstood.  sorry  I thought you meant to try spawning the vehicles I had downloaded

other than that, eup and compulite are not loading in your log.

i do not know.  is there a way of clearing all of them and starting new without having to redownload GTA and Hook?  I am afraid of deleting stuff that I will need

 

well i started having issues with Steam so I uninstalled and reinstalled steam and it made me redownload everything including LSPDFR.  So that is where I am at as of now

I have basically started from the beginning.  since i was having issues with Steam I uninstalled it.  apparently when I uninstalled it it wiped everything.  so I reinstalled Hook and stoptheped.  I followed the directions provided but have no idea how to work it so I do not know if it is installed correctly.  I do not even know how to pull it up
