RAGE CRASHING

Featured Replies

I'm at a loss. First, GTA wouldn't load at all, verified files and now I can get it to load into SP. Now Rage keeps crashing. I've installed the newest version with all files included in the zip and yet it's still crashing. I do not have a mods folder or LML, that should rule out the first couple of suggestions.

Newest crash report attached.

Same here. Beyond frustrated. I deleted and redownload the files following the steps outlined in both the video as well as the script seen on https://www.lcpdfr.com/lspdfr/how-to-install/ and it still isn't working for me.

Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus.

There has to be a simple fix! Can someone write out the process or create a short video on the proper way of setting it up?

Against my better judgment I went ahead and deleted my entire GTA directory and let it do a fresh install overnight. Sure enough, everything is working as it should. That leads me to believe it may have been an outdated plugin but I saw nothing of the sort in the log file.

Anyone else having issues, that resolution may be your last resort.
