Siren is doubled over after turning on lights.

Featured Replies

I've been having an issue where the sirens sound normal when I have my lights off, but as soon as I turn my lights on, and use the sirens, the siren noise is doubled over, and pressing the horn causes them to go out of sync, just like if I was using a multi-siren, even though I'm not.

I have seen a few people have had this problem in the past, but I haven't found a solution, would anybody know what the problem is, and how to fix it?

  • Did this happen without RPH?
  • Did this happen in a clean install of GTA V?

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.

  • No, I use Rage Plugin Hook for all my mods, and LSPDFR (Obviously)
  • No, I have plenty of plugins installed.

It might be one of your plugins. Do you:

  • Use car modifications?
  • Use ELS, or DLS?

  • Car Modifications? I'm not sure, I use custom cars if that's what you're asking.
  • Yes I use both ELS and DLS

Remove either ELS or DLS and try again. Do not remove them both.

I actually fixed the problem! Turns out it was DLS, it has it's own siren commands, and that's conflicting with GTA V's siren commands. I changed them to 'None' and no longer have the issue. Thank you!

Well DLS automatically attempt to disable GTA V siren commands. It's siren commands are the same as ELS though, so they conflicts.
