Hello, I'm new to LSPDFR so whenever I go on duty my fps drops very much. While offduty I get around 120fps with 100%GPU Usage but when I go on duty it drops to around 45-55fps with around 60% gpu usage. There is no bottleneck as the off duty gta 5 works very well and I even get 70+ fps in rdr2 with ultra high graphics

 

My Specs:

RTX 2060

R5 3500 Ryzen

16GB Ram

1.7tb storage (256gb ssd rest hdd)

B550 MSI Motherboard

I have the same issue. I have GeForce 1080, Core I7, I play GTA with all ultra graphics and i have 70-100 fps. While of duty I have the same 70-100 fps, bur when I go on duty with plugins: ultimate backup, stop the ped, computer +, Deadly weapons, traffic police and with car pack I have 20-34 fps in-game (( In addition I have graphics mod Redux.

I have the same problem as you and I don't know how to solve it. I have the same video card and everything, but it is stuck at 30FPS and low GPU and CPU usage when I go into service in lspdfr.

I wish there was some setting or mod that would improve this. At least make me hit 60FPS. Without losing the quality of the game, after all, I have hardware and processing power.

Bit of an old post to resurrect, but can you tell me what plugins you are using and what your video settings are.

It's because I never had a hardware configuration that matched this opportunity. Now that I have an RTX 3060 Super, I want the performance to match. And I didn't want to create a new topic, if there was already this one, it didn't make sense to bring it up again in a new one, but if you want, I can do that.

 

What bothers me the most is that the RTX 3060, 16 gigs of RAM and the Ryzen 5 3400g processor doesn't even reach 50% usage, but the game barely leaves 30-40 FPS, and that bothers me. And that's with the average graphics settings. At the maximum quality setting that GTA V has to offer, it is stuck at 30 FPS. I've already disabled V-Sync and even disabled some LSPDFR settings, which went up some 5 FPS. I also disabled the option in the GTA V configuration to ignore limitations, and tweaked the graphics card configuration to focus on quality delivery. But nothing resolved.

 

I know that many callout plugins can cause FPS reduction, and I confess that I have many, but I don't know which ones to remove without losing the immersion of the variety and diversity of calls in the shift. And even in the maximum configuration I didn't find GTA that much prettier, do you know any modification, mod that makes the game more beautiful and that is more efficient in using the hardware with an increase in the game's FPS?

 

What else could I do to achieve at least 60FPS stable in my gameplay? Here's a print of my list of plugins, settings and others if you have any suggestions on which ones I can remove without harming the immersion, thank you. Plus any more tips.

Can you please send me your RAGEPluginHook.log file. Just wanna run it through my script and see if you have any old plugins. I'll also suggest some to remove which should improve some FPS at least.

As I can't play now to play a game, here's the last one I did that I think resulted in a crash of a mod I was testing and I removed it.

Wow, thank you for this in-depth review, maybe I really am one.

About updates, I updated all suggested mods. The strange thing is that some of these I had already updated, I didn't understand why your report shows them in the old version.

Other mods I didn't find in my files like "SecondCallouts"; "Callout" to remove it.

Some that are similar, I like their command, seem to be more efficient.
The "Arrest Manenger" gives the option of taking more than one in the same car, I find this very useful when there are many suspects in custody.
The "Panic button" gives me more options of backup sets I can request, I sort them, UltimateBackup setting is for more serious situations, and it usually causes framedrop.
The "PoliceSmartRadio", It is very practical to gather several commands in a selection to request, which unfortunately has little in the others..
The "RichsPoliceEnhancements" I use it more because of its settings in the chases, when I met "Radio Realism FR" it didn't seem to contain these functions, it was just a visual mod to use the radio.

It breaks my heart to remove some of these mods that have such interesting and fun calls as the "AssortedCallouts" that has a very complete bank robbery. Or "RegularCallouts" and "VariousCallouts" with hot gang calls, robberies and gunfights. But I removed them to check the improvement in FPS.

(Taking advantage because you are very smart, I have a bug, when I am in pursuit, the police I request via the lspdfr menu, they chase but do not leave the vehicle to arrest the suspect or sometimes give up the chase. I don't know if it's a conflict with ultimate backup, could you tell me why this happens? When they get out of the vehicle, they engage in the arrest of the suspect who is fleeing on foot or has given up, but often they stay inside the vehicle stopped or following from inside.)

Anyway, I'll resend you the Rage.log of the last gameplay with the changes, in case there is not much improvement in FPS.

Still I would like to know why the GPU and CPU do not work at maximum capacity and the FPS is so low? I have a good machine, it was supposed to work well and deliver good performance.

Sometimes the authors of the mods forget to update their plugin assembly versions, which is why this could be coming up as a false positive. 🙂

This could just be a terrible naming scheme on the dev's part, or a weird RAGE quirk.

Last time I recall, StopThePed allows for multi-prisoner-transport. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I remember using this feature.

I've just moved this into the non-deprecated section of my script. It was causing some crashes for me so just to be safe, I made it say that it's deprecated. If it hasn't caused any issues, you don't need to remove it.

If you are using LSPDFR backup, try opening the backup menu while backup is called. There should be some options and maybe they will be of use.? This is the key, I don't have it bound, but you can give it a shot.

I was running some tests earlier, and noticed that I also had this issue. My CPU seems to sit at ~60% utilization, while my GPU sits at ~40%. It's pretty frustrating, but I think it's just a by-product of this dinosaur aged game. Oh well.

 

Also, looks like you still have to update CountyCalls, try the latest 5.1 file. _{(Unless this is a different callout pack...)}
