So I recently deleted all my date and files for gta5 on accident because the recent update messed up epic launcher as usual. Luckily most files were in my recycling bin, so I restored the files available. After I verified my game files and tried to restore my game to its previous self by redownloading mods that have updated. 

 

Now when I try to launch my (base game) It crashes and says "corrupted files, plz verify".

Then I try launch with RPH to play my modded version. Instant crash, same error.

I verified my game 3 times already, verifying should restore all missing files right? I don't get what's going on and I really need assistance.

 

Also already reinstalled the openIV stuff. I looked up every solution I could find.

 

I will continue to find the root to my problem...

So I eventually decided to delete my mods folder and load the update inside. 

I'm no longer getting that error message.

 

When I load base GTA its loads fine but in game my tree texture, buildings and roads are white as if the textures havent been placed in.

RPH still instantly crashes.

Next time instead of deleting your mods folder, use Open IV and see if you need to just update the mods folder.  Open IV will tell you at the top if you have an outdated mods folder and would you like to replace it.  Usually that will fix any errors that are related to the mods folder.  It is the update.rpf that gets outdated after a R* update. 

 

I don't know what to say about the texture problem now. 

 

Also, I had to do a game verify files after a drive change on my computer.  I couldn't get the game to load.  I have retail version and I went into my Rockstar account and did the game verify there.  Took hours but it did fix it.  Apparently,  I had a registry key problem after the game files move I did.

I ended up resolving my problem by redownloading my game and fresh installing everything. I believe somehow my game didn't download properly and It just corrupted itself. I'm really getting tired of epic!
