I have tried to play your (I think) excellent mod but to no avail.

I have back patched my version of the game (GTA IV) from 1.0.7 to 1.0.6.

I copied over your ASI loader and the files provided with the download, I also put the game in a folder under Rockstar games, instead of Steam.

Everytime I go to play the game the thing crashes when I get to the loading screen, loading cousins bellic.

I looked in the Xlive trace and found this:

Nope, still crashes and the Xlive log doesn't even update, its still says the error was at 8:30 ( i tried it at 9:00).

hr...well try using the Dsound asi loader and remove XLive
