Probably the most unknown name siren in history.

I don't even know what the module looks like. All I know is that it was used during the 70s to the 80s on some Japanese police cars, seen in films, animes and in some stop motion stuff made by people around the internet, but there's no name for it and I cannot find a model used. You can hear it in this clip of a film too:

Cannot find ANYTHING on this siren at all, and it has been at the back of my head for about 6 years now. Any ideas folks?

Well actually, there is so much things you can search online to find out what it actually is.
I think you can start by searching the following company + "siren" / "サイレン" on youtube:

-PATLITE

-PANASONIC

-Osaka Siren Company

Searching those should be a good start since they do make siren for Japan Emergency services.

Knew about Patlite but not OSC or Panasonic. Just checked those out but unfortunately no results. Might try and find a Japanese forum and ask there lol. Found a nice video on a mechanical OSC siren though, so that's nice.

This guy modified a Clarion AA-602 siren amplifier.
The tone that you were looking for could be found in his modded work at 2:14.

Holy crap, that's it, I just translated it and it translates to "Old Patrol Car" so not much to go on. I'm gonna ask him if he knows the name of the original model siren that it comes from, and how he modified it.
