Can't arrest suspects after a pursuit, and take arrested suspects in a car

Featured Replies

So I already saw a post that had both problems, but it wasn't solved so I'm going to try with a new one.

I am new to LSPDFR and am having a lot of fun, but I can't arrest someone after responding to a call. When I just arrest someone random, or someone from a traffic stop, i can do the usual stuff; frisk them, talk to them and cuff them.  Now, after i cuff them, they will follow me, but they won't get into a car. I press E to open the back door of the car, and the suspect just stands next to it and isn't getting in, even though they are cuffed and aren't resisting arrest. I can get them on the floor and call transport, which does work, but i would like to try out transporting them myself, since it is a part of the mod.

Now, back to the arrest after responding to a call issue. I engage in a pursuit, everything goes fine, the suspect gives up, and they just stand there with their hands up. Like, the game doesn't show what controls i have to use to frisk them, talk to them or cuff them, as it does when I do a traffic stop. I do try do normal controls, but they don't do anything. I obviously can't call for transport since I can't even cuff them, and if I call backup they just ignore the suspect completely, so there is pretty much no way of arresting them.

By the way, I reinstalled the mod and it is happening again.

Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

I'm not 100% sure about your issue, but I am guessing is that you might need additional plugins for the game. Regarding the first problem: In order to place the suspect in the back of your vehicle and transport them, you'd need to grab the suspect yourself and transport them to the vehicle. For this, you should probably download STOPTHEPED. This plugin simply allows more functionality and enhances your experience in LSPDFR. After downloading, you can review the major keys/controls via stoptheped configuration file located in Plugins/LSPDFR of your GTA V directory. I believe this should also help with your second issue as well. Let me know if this helps! You can also look at this website for additional plugins you might want/need.

Thank you for the quick response!

Your method worked, I can't thank you enough for helping me solve this issue. Stop The Ped is a great plugin and really brings a lot of new things to LSPDFR.

I managed to solve the first problem about not getting the suspect in the car succesfully by removing a line from my dlclist.xml in my update folder (I added an addon car, then removed it from the dlcpacks folder, but still left the line in dlclist.xml, so it probably messed up the game somehow, a stupid but simple mistake, wrote this just in case somebody has the same problem, maybe this could fix it).

The second problem about not being able to cuff someone after responding to a call still remained, but Stop The Ped helped me to fix that too.

It is a little bit glitchy, but if you want I'll keep you updated on how it's working after playing a litlle more.

To anybody that has the same problems, just download Stop The Ped, since I saw some posts where people had the same problem, but they didn't find the solution.

Again, thanks a lot for helping out, as you can see I am new to this community and am very happy to see it's very friendly and helpful.

To simply grab a ped, stand at the back of the ped and press E. To place a suspect inside your vehicle, hold down E while you grabbing the suspect and you are standing close to the back door of your cop car.

You are supposed to read LSPDFR wiki to learn about these basic features.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.

My problem was that this didn't work for me, sorry I didn't explain it well enough. I couldn't grab the ped. I explained what solved the issue in the previous post.

Keep in mind that you'll have to remove all of Albo's plugins - Bejo's plugins potentially conflicts with Albo's plugins, and, you'll have to install Ultimate Backup if you haven't.

Ignore this reply if you are happy with Bejo's plugins.
