Game loads, starts, then crashes after 3 seconds

Featured Replies

Hi!

The game works perfectly when all the files are uninstalled. When I install the mod, I start the game, it loads, then crashes. I don't know what's the problem but it pisses me off. Before that I had LCPDFR work but I uninstalled GTA IV and LCPDFR then reinstalled it because I had a problem with the GTA iv update. I then reinstalled everything and here is what happens...

I would update your game to the latest patch and use the latest script hook, but thats just me

Thank you I updated it and it works now.. I have the GTA IV 1.0.6.0 .. the 1.0.7.0 crashed at the start so.. I had to downgrade it.

Thanks

If the 1070 crashed that means something isnt loading right at startup, i run 1070 and it runs fine but long as it runsand seeing GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 0, 1 means you are one outta date...0.5.1 works obtain here http://dl.megamods.de/83

i think i spotted your issue already... 1.0.4.0 game patch.....it runs better on 1.0.6.0 or 1.0.7.0

i think i spotted your issue already... 1.0.4.0 game patch.....it runs better on 1.0.6.0 or 1.0.7.0

I will try that this afternoon and will inform you, but what do you adives? 1.0.6.0 or 1.0.7.0?

And to patch it, do i first need patch 5??

No, you don't need patch 5. I would advise 1.0.7.0, but ask Asuna's advise too if you want.

EDIT: Ok guys i have finally got it to work, after A LOT of searching trying and thinking,

This was the solution, Asuna helped me a lot on this, i had everything but on patch 1.0.4.0 i then installed patch 1.0.6.0 which is a great increase of performance, i then installed the lcpdfr mod again and put the MSVCR100.dll in the GTA 4 folder, it worked no errors! and the alt p worked! great! only of course that the mod has got a few errors! but im happy i finally managed to let it work!

Thx to everyone who helped me! i apprectiate it, also if someone else has problems with it, like the same as me, pm me, i might know the solution because of the problems i solved.

Again thx and this is a great mod!
