Suggestion

Featured Replies

Hi all, devs if you're looking.

I'd like to suggest a resource system for individual departments, not sure how easy or otherwise it would be to implement.  Though each department would have a set amount of available units/specialist resources at a given time, so like a roster system in effect.

The units available on a dayshift would be more than say a nightshift and this could be modified for each day of the week.

In terms of gameplay, it may mean that there is limited/no assistance available and perhaps mutual aid could come into effect.  So an LSPD officer is off with vehicle stopped and requests assistance, no LSPD available but RHPD has a car nearby and the mutual aid comes from the next agency.  Or a K9 isn't available as they are currently committed with a missing person search etc...

I thought of this after using Ambient AI Callouts and think it would integrate amazingly, though would also work well on native LSPDFR.  Not sure if this will garner much interest, as it's a move more into the immersion/RP style and may not cater for all tastes.

Thanks for the read!

J.

@ThruZZd noted, it's my intention to throw that suggestion into his discord also.  Figured that if it had a native framework within LSPDFR, it would be easier to integrate with future plugins.
