Hi guys,

 

my LSPDFR/GTA V keeps crashing when a callout is getting in.

I tried everything, installing LSPDFR freshly, checking my versions for RageHook, even installing my whole GTA V new.

 

I think that's the right crash-file.

Do you get any error message, or is it just a Crash to Desktop?

@TheLion1675 It beeps 3 times, and crashes to desktop. Then the small window for generating the crash Report opens up.

Same error when getting a callout. (it's 5 Beeps actually :D)

I'm stumped. I can't see anything, and you don't have any plugins installed besides base mod. Maybe @Richcan be of more support than I am.

@TheLion1675Just LSPDFR nothing more. (But there is clearly a Exception in the Log file, isnt it?)

The original log states the issue regarding SlimDX.  If you google it, there are a lot of results, but very few answers.

I have seen this error a few times over the years and know the technical reason behind it, but I am not sure to this day what part causes it unfortunately. From what I understand there is very little you can do to fix it, it is ultimately an issue with how RPH and SlimDX work together, but again, I am not sure where exactly.

 

To summarize potential fixes from similar threads:

 

Delete SlimDX.dll from your GTA folder and reinstall it from the LSPDFR manual install.

Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date

Ensure you don't have any pending Windows updates

Ensure the .NET framework on your system is up to date

@Rich The weird thing is that it worked properly for some days. And out of the nowhere, without any change on my System, it crashed.

 

Checked all the things, and it did work! Probably the "Delete SlimDX.dll from your GTA folder and reinstall it from the LSPDFR manual install." Did the things. isnt it just a file? nice... lets see how lang that lasts.

crashing again

Mine is doing the same thing 

yep i got the same problem i talk to dispatch with grammer police and my game tabs out to my desktop and then 10 seconds later i talk to dispatch again or shoot/force a callout and my game doesnt respond and i sat for an hour nearly eaerlier trying to wait for app to respond again and i got nothing. this is clearly a LSPDFR bug i think and it needs to be fixed asap

 

I have the same problem...
I checked out everything, it isn't because of the plugins, not because of the mods, I guess it really is a Bug of LSPD:FR
Because everytime a call comes in, there are just 5 beeps, and then it crashes to Desktop with the typical RPH message!

What I found was, that he trys to start the call and then an "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION" occures.
