Hello I've been using these mods for a while an never had something like this happen. I open my game and everything works fine, but when i get in the area of the yellow jack bar to about where the old motel is in sandy shores my game crashes. I tried reinstalling mods and everything. This only happens when i try to play lspdfr if I got there otherwise it works fine.

Please help its so frustrating. 

Hi - does it crash LSPDFR or completely shuts down the game? 

Do you have a RagePluginHook.log that we could look at? 

 

Latest GTA version? 

Latest LSPDFR / Rage Plughin Hook / Scripthook (if used)? 

 

Also do you have any OpenIV type mods in your game? 

If you do there will be a separate "mods" folder. <-- I would rename this just to see if something in there is causing the issue. 

Any other plugins or just LSPDFR? 

 

Does it only happen when on duty or also when off duty? 

 

Any specific callout packs etc? <-- I again would remove everything from plugins/LSPDFR just to test. Also only run LSPDFR and no other plugins to see if it is something in LSPDFR.

Yes im on the lastest version and i have a log. crash report 3-21-21.txt

I cannot see anything calling out what the issue is here - not sure if anyone else in the forum can see anything wrong? 
Normally I would be recommending reinstalling GTA and LSPDFR to remove whatever the issue is. 

 

The fact it happens in certain areas implies there is something wrong with the game files in those locations - Do you have a "mods"

 folder in your install? 

 

And it only happens when LSPDFR is loaded?

at the time of the crash I didn't have anything but lspdfr installed. ill check and see if it happens when I'm Off duty. Ill also try renaming the folder. And it only happens when I launch the game with rageplugin hook for lspdfr.

Well I loaded into the game and it put me near the prison in sandy shores. I tried to steal a car and stopped realizing i was gonna get shot so i just spawned a car then it crashes again here's the report.   crashnumber2 3-23-2021.txt  I have no other plugins installed except traffic policer and els, but the other crash the only thing i had was lspdfr. 

Well i renamed the folder to m0ds with a zero instead of an O and it didnt read anything in the mods folder cause it was renamed and it still crashed but this time i was in between the yellow jack and Trevor's air field. I was off dupty and it still did it. This time rage plugin hook didnt give me a report i guess cause it didnt have anywhere to put it since it didn't reconize the mods folder. 

Also, I have backups of gta5 when the new update released I copied my files from my backup and reinstalled the mods so i dont think it has anything to do with gta5 it self it might be rage plugin hook or something. 

Having another look through your logs and I can not see anything that could be causing the issue. Normally that kind of crash would point to something in the mods folder but by renaming it we ruled that out. Traffic policer is quite old now, but as you say it crashes without that. 

 

One more thing just to rule out LSPDFR. Could you change Rage Plugin Hook to not load plugins at startup? 
Or get into game, then when fully loaded (not on duty) press F4 and type "Unloadplugin LSPDFR" or it may be LSPD First Response (I cannot remember off the top of my head) and then go to yellow jack and see what happens. 

 

Then we can rule out scripthook issues (this will stop things like ELS working, but just while we test). Try renaming scripthook.dll to scripthook.dll.off just to see if there is something from those plugins causing an issue. 

 

Sorry, but I am really clutching at straws here as I have no idea why you are seeing this. 

I did what you said  i renamed the scripthook folder and i unloaded the plugin lspd first response and it still did it also it wasn't reading the mods folder cause it was still renamed from yesterday. crash report3 3-24-21.txt

CrashReport 3-24-21 {Detailed report}.txt I choose the option generate detailed report incase this would be of any use. 

So we have ruled out any mods in your mods folder. 

We have ruled out a scrupthook plugin

We have ruled out other RPH or LSPDFR plugins which kind of leaves something wrong with either: 

 

- Your GTA install

- Rage Plugin Hook

- LSPDFR

 

I still cannot see anything in your logs to indicate a cause. At this point I think the only way you will definitely remove the issue would be to reinstall GTA and start again. 

 

Unless anybody else has any ideas?

Ill try and do a compete reinstall of my game.
