Limited Resources Mod idea

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I hate the idea of making a mod "request" as it sounds too entitled, however, I would like to present an idea to see if a mod developer would like to attempt it. I would be happy to work with them on the concept.

Anywho, the idea is a limited resource plugin that makes it so when you call backup, there are only limited units (as defined by the user). For example maybe the BCSO only has one K9 officer and they are assigned to patrol a certain area. When you request a K9, that officer would be spawned in said area and assigned to your call, however you would not beable to get another K9 from your agency (potential for mutual aid requests). Same would go for pursuits, the user defines how many officers per agency are avalible and what areas they would patrol, backup would be spawned from these locations and you would not get 100 blaine county deputies on a chase from spamming backup requests.

I know this could be presented better and I would do better if i was able to talk it out. I am not even sure this is possible but i am happy to hear input from anyone who thinks they could try.

I like this idea, and I think I could do something with it as a new feature for my Police Enhancements plugin.  I have some other obligations I need to work on first, but I'd like to try doing something with this.

Thats cool to hear, if you want more information or my opinions and limited help with coding hit me up on discord Walnut#4230
