Hi guys.

I need help. I have 3ds model, I have texture, but I have no idea how to import it as an object to GTA. I want to replace one of .wdr in rubbish.img archive. Maybe someone with experience could help me? Pleeeease.

In general, you use GIMS (google it). Install it, and then it will show up in max under the utilities tab. Hit "start", "export ODR/WDR", and it'll save it in .odr format. Then, use OpenIV, New, Import OpenFormats, select the .odr.

I think there's a particular structure to .odrs, though, so you should look into that.

Problem is GIMS doesn't work for me. It needs newer 3DS max which I don't have.

Try going to students.autodesk.com; it has the newest version of max for free. I don't believe any tool but GIMS can export WDR files.

Well, Zmodeller imported 3DS but fucked up textures, that's why I'm asking for help.

I don't know if Zmodeler can even export a WDR.

Me too, I'm totally new to this. I'll try tomorrow with 3DS and GIMS. Hope it will work.
