I just spent not even kidding, about 10 minutes fighting off a crap ton of driveby shooters (With the help of the panic button and NOOSE) and I was enjoying it until I started to realise that... it wasn't going to stop...

This might be a little long, but I am sure that giving the full layout of events or however you say it, will help get to the bottom of what the hell that was. I haven't tested if it will happen again yet.

I had just did "ReloadAllPlugins" to initiate LSPDFR, as I start with no plugins loaded, like I usually do, came out of Franklin's house, went to the station, then got a call to a police impersonator. So I went to it, but the guy started running so I initiated a pursuit. He got out a few roads down in downtown vinewood, pulls out a gun so I punch him and arrest him. Moments after, 3 red large blips (signifying a vehicle) start moving in from all directions. Each of them is a hispanic male with a pistol, and they start firing at me!

After killing all 3, even MORE come. Naturally I hit the panic button and noose start to help. Not even kidding, two blocks worth of a road got filled up COMPLETELY with just empty vehicles and empty Cadillac Escalades. 

At last I got killed once it became overwhelming, but I am really confused on why this happened.

 

Could it have been the game thought I was still Franklin, and this drive-by was to be initiated as I drove out of vinewood as Franklin?

 

As it wasn't in the Grove street area it could be.

Hop into story mode and make sure you don't get shot + you aren't in any ongoing missions

Haha, it's actually something pretty similar.

 

I think the character has the code of either Trevor or Michael, or the game defaults them to that!

I just got a little notification saying that Trevor and Michael are exiled, and that MADRAZO'S men will come after them if they try. 

 

So in short, apologies for wasting your time, since they were just Madrazo's henchmen.

Will do, it's great to see someone helping out on this part of the forum. It used to be deserted leaving dozens of players in need of help with their crashing game without it provided to them.
