Can You Install Multiple ELS Vehicles w/o Replacing Old Vehicles?

Featured Replies

I've been using LSPDFR for about a month now and I have cycled through several various vehicle models with different departments. I am wondering if you can install multiple different vehicle MODELS (not skins/textures) without replacing the existing vehicle. For instance, let's say I have a LSPD Crown Vic for "POLICE2" and I download a LSPD Charger that is also "POLICE2" can I rename one of these to like "POLICE7" etc. or do I have to replace the Vic with the Charger if I want to use it? Hopefully this makes sense and is a rational question, if you CAN rename them, do I just rename the XML file?

Let me know if anyone has any ideas/solutions! Merry Christmas everyone!

Thanks,

Riley

You can use these names for replace slots, I've listed what the handling will be like by default:
Police (Crown Vic)
Police2 (Charger)
Police3 (Taurus)
Police4 (Crown Vic)
Sheriff (Crown Vic)
Sheriff2 (Tahoe)
FBI (Charger)

FBI2 (Tahoe)

PRANGER (Tahoe)

PoliceB (Motorcycle)
PoliceT (Van)
Riot (Lenco Bear, not Bearcat)
LGUARD (Tahoe)
You may also make or install addon slots, to do that you would have to make vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta entries or if you use LML you can use this premade one, you will most likely need to change handling in the meta
