Game Crash while going on Duty

Featured Replies

RagePluginHook.logCan anyone assist me in finding why my game crashed when i try to call back up, also when the Start Up is Loading the Rockstar emblem, there's no sound (the window breaking, sirens and gun-fire) in the the beginning until the music starts on the loading screen. I cant figure it out.

Attached is the Rage Log.

Thank you in advance.

For the sound, I don't know what would cause that, may be RPH.
[12/1/2020 6:47:19 PM.738] Exception message: Type 'SlimDX.Result' in Assembly 'SlimDX, Version=4.0.13.43, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b1b0c32fd1ffe4f9' is not marked as serializable.

Go to this site and download RPH, place the file "SlimDX.DLL" from the download into your main directory  https://ragepluginhook.net

The site won't load for me so it may not load for you either, if it won't use the manual installation version of LSPDFR to get the .dll

Hiya!

I thought I'd swing by. This issue has been around for a while and here are some things to try:

  • Update your graphics card. Not just through Windows Updates but their corresponding software such as AMD

If that doesn't work do this:

  1. Add your GTA V folder to Antivirus exceptions.
  2. Delete SlimDX from your GTAV folder and restart your PC.
  3. Download RagePluginHook and put the .zip in your GTA V folder.

  4. Click "Extract Here."

Hope this helps!

Okay so here I go with my researches of crashes during the game... VANILLA LSPDFR and Rage hook does NOT crash at all!

it happens ONLY when i activate Mods folder since I want to use AMC Matador and other 70's police cars, so

is there a suggestion HOW TO avoid those random crashes and still use modded cars?

Cheers!
