Gta crash to desktop (no crash report ) Help

I've uninstalled and reinstalled gta5 so many times and every time i try to play it crashes before I even get into gta5. I tried vanilla version still does it. when it crashes it just crashes to desktop and doesn't give me a the ability to make a crash report.

If the game crashes without RAGE the issue is with your game files.

 

To confirm this rename your mods folder to _mods and see if it makes a difference

still didnt work. i did deleted the files from my game directory and then uninstal the game then reinstall. and it still does the same thing.

Do you have a mods folder in your game?

If the game doesn't work on a fresh install there isn't much I can do.

Make sure you don't have any conflicting scripts.

 

If worst comes to worst and you can't find anything causing this try reinstalling GTAV to another location

ok so i think i figured out the problem. i think its scripthook. i just took it out and know i load in but now how do i use mods without scripthook

I don't think it would be ScriptHookV as it is highly optimised and widely used.

 

It may be something that requires it instead. 

Have you installed anything that uses it recently?

nope but when i took out scripthook the game works now so what does scritpthook need with it

ScriptHookV wouldn't be causing it but most likely a plugin that uses.

 

Add it back in and then attach your ScriptHook log

Could you send all your ScriptHook logs (including dotnet)?
