Hello all, ive installed the the game and all its mods to fully operate it. My only issue is the ELS. Ive got ELS vehicles along with the ELS installed properly and the panel still does not show. Control+p only pauses my game and after that, still panel no show. How to fix this and make my lights work the proper way. 

Do you have the VCFs installed into gtav/els/pack_default? Also do you have ScriptHook V installed?

i have scripthook installed and i just went through my els pack_defaults folder and only seen " @info "  and " @unused " now what to do next? because i dont know where the vcfs are....

a VCF is a file such as police.xml or sheriff.xml, these are required for ELS to work.
The usually come with vehicle packs.

yes, ive got all that already, still no panel. even tried the xml files for the specific cars i do have thats els capable installed into the els openIV. still no show.

The VCFs have to be in pack_default. Make sure they are there and not anywhere else.

For the panel, try changing its keybinding from P to something else, that should help with that if you get the files installed properly.
If the VCFs are in pack_default and still not working try rebooting your PC.

how to go to key bindings??? do you go in game under settings or what??

ok soo i just rebooted my computer and chnaged the key bindings to instead of "control+p" its now "NumPad0" and i also did the scroll lock and set it as well to NumPad9. im about to jump in the game and see if this works

man i did all that and it still does not work sheesh

If so go into your ELS ini file and see if changing the keybind helps!

ive tried and still nothing works

do you have els lock on?

els lock??

 

This locks all ELS buttons from working. The keybind for this is "Scroll Lock"

I found something else if that doesn't work

Try this:

Open OpenIV

Uninstall ASI loaders

Close OpenIV

Open OpenIV

Install ASI loaders

Close OpenIV

Restart the computer

ok charlie ive chnaged the keybindings alrready last nite and that didnt work and mud ill try that right now thanks you guys

where would asi loaders be found in open iv???? what folder

We need to know if the issue is with the whole of ELS or just the menu so we can deal with it appropriately.

Open OpenIV then go to Tools/ASI Manager
