Need help! I recently updated to 4.8. Ever since then, I have had no luck. I have removed all albo plugins as well as updated all plugins i have. Now, game starts loading, but as soon as I force duty, game loads for a sec then freezes then crashes. What should I next?

I've looked at your log and you have lots of outdated plugins. As there are so many I cannot list them all but for example ComputerPlus is out of date as is MoreRadioChatter and Metro Callouts 3.

 

Have a look through to locate all the outdated ones. I would strongly I advise you remove them as they cause crashes and system instability. 

There doesn't seem to be a "crash" but I do think the amount of plugins, combined with the many that are out of date has caused your game to be unstable.

Also increase your Plugin Timeout Threshold to 60,000

 

 

If you still face issues after doing the above just let me know : D

I went through and deleted all of the out of date plugin. I also verified as well to make sure there were no issues. I though I found success as the game loaded as normal. When forcing duty, game freezes then closes. Shortly after, game will load up to the black screen before going to the apartment then closes. Suggestions?

Do install Albo.common - some callouts require it, but don't disable blip hiding. The errors with blips is almost always due to something else so doing this will not help.

   Thanks for the tips. I did all that  you suggested previously as well as reinstalled Albo.common. My game is back to operational with fewer crashes for the most part, however, all of controls have changed or nonexistent and  my ELS vehicles, siren etc.. populate in OpenIV but do not show up in game. I have reinstalled  ELS and cars twice along with the other things and to no avail, it still stays the same. Thoughts?

 In regards to your controls check the relevant ini files.

 

For vehicles make sure they are in Patchday 22! 

I will recheck my Ini files. Also, my cars were originally in patch day 22 prior to me upgrading to 0.48. I wonder if there is a patchday 23?

Good news and Bad news:

 Good news= I reinstalled my asi loader in Open IV and all the cars came back. Also, check all of the ini's and updated everything, even redownloaded the scrithookv and rage hook.

 

Bad news= game loads up, but as soon as I F4 or go to a station to to load up as LEO, game freezes then quits. Dont know what else to do.

Go into the RAGE settings and set it to load no plugins on startup.

Then when in game load LSPDFR through the RAGE console by typing "LoadPlugin...."

 

If it still happens send another log!

Thanks for the the feedback! Sorry for the long pause, I got busy. Anyhow, I went through and updated all of the plugins, game etc. Also, I tried what you suggested with not load plugins as well as with plugins loading. Unfortunately, trying it both ways ended infinite loading screens. Thoughts?

Does GTAV load in normally (without RAGE)?

Hey, cleared my command line. Also, GTAV does not load normally with out Rage. It loads up to the point where I can select story mode. After that, it crashes out.  I was truly hopping I would not have to start from scratch in deleting and reinstalling everything. 

Rename your mods folder to _mods and see if the issue persists

Ok, now the regular game loads after I changed  the mods folder to _mods

This means that the issue is in your mods folder.

Revert all previous changes then rename it back to "mods" (enabling it) and see if it runs

You are right! After reverting my Mods folder back to the original name, its back to the infinite loading sequence just like before. I wonder how I can fix it without having to start all over.  

Figured out how to get pass the infinite loading screen issue. However, when hitting F4 to load LSPDFR, LSPDFR crashes but game does not. Thoughts?

You need to update LSPDFR. 

 

 

You can do this to update it:

 

1. Download the manual install of LSPDFR
2. Open the plugins folder of the manual install.
3. There should be 2 files Drag and drop these into GTAV/Plugins

 

Make sure you are downloading the latest LSPDFR version!
