I am fairly new to modding and I am trying to get a British uniform, it all works really well apart from the hats. The hats which are installed in x64e - models - cdimages - pedprops.rpf

Are not showing up in game. Not in EUP or on other police. I have tried installing loads of British hat mods, but none of them work and do not show up in game. Can anybody help?

 

The cop hat is s_m_y_cop_01_p.ydd and s_m_y_cop_01_p.ytd

Here it is! Dragged the files into the correct EUP folders and replaced the correct files, but they still show up in game as the original hats.

As someone who does British LSPDFR I would strongly advise you don't use EUP. This is because the quality of Peds is much lower and there is less available. Take these for example:

Could you explain a bit more? How would I be able to get the uniforms then if I don't use EUP? I would be more than happy to give up on EUP as it is a hassle to get it just right. I just need a bit of help.

He meant to remove EUP and replace the original LSPD cop: S_M_Y_Cop with the British cop model. And replace the original prop with the hat model provided in the ped model. 

 

Then you can use simple trainer to spawn the ped, and go to "cloth" to customize your uniform.
