I am using Shadow to play GTA5 on my computer, I have added extra storage to my shadow account, however they are in two different drives as seen attached, my question is can install Mods to the other drive and still play gta

Hello,

You can't install mods in a different drive and have the GTA folder on a different drive.

You will have to uninstall GTA and reinstall it in the drive you want your mods to be in 🙂

I have completely transferred my gta 5 over to the different drive so do I have to delete it then? 

Hiya! If you GTA V is now on your D : Drive then you should no longer require an unused copy on your other drive.

everything crashed mate and ive had to reset my shadow so ill be starting from scratch again and will reinstall everything

cheers mate, it was a problem with the launcher as i had transferred the original files to the wrong place and messed everything up, but everything is still on the google drive so ill just re install it all 🙂

 

It is indeed! If you want me to update it (I have changed it so it has a more Met Police Look) and added a TSG van with normal peds as well let me know!

I'm not sure if it works like that.

When you start the game the game provider (Steam, EPIC) accesses the place location of where you installed the game and runs the files in there. You can't just name another folder called GTAV in another drive and expect it to work 🙂

 

I presumed he had somehow changed the opening location through EPIC/Steam. If only it was that easy 😞
