My game has been crashing non-stop and it's driving me crazy. It might be something to do with LSPDFR permissions? I've attached the logs.

Yes Tysm for replying. I usually fix these on my own but this one's impossible.

 

In my plugins folder I have, ParksCommon (folder), LSPDFR (folder), EUP (folder), emergency strobes, clear the way, EUPMenu, LSPDFR.dll, spike strips,

 

In my LSPDFR folder I have: stop the ped, ultimate backup, LSPDFR+, Arrest Manager, Peter U callouts, Police Smart Radio, vocal dispatch,wilderness callouts, assorted callouts, callouts manager, high priority.dll, united callouts, red callouts, traffic policer.

 

I have a few skins, vehicle mods and edited sounds I installed using OpenIV too although I've no issues with them since installing a year ago.

I have dealt with this issue a couple of times and it is quite strange and I still an unable to find out what is causing it. However a fix which should work is reinstalling LSPDFR using the manual install. If you exclude the plugins folder then you won't lost your plugins and callouts!

 

However, if you have edited any of the files in the lspdfr folder (not to be confused with Plugins/LSPDFR) then make sure to make a backup! An example of a file like this would be agency.xml!

when was the last time you updated police smart radio?

okayyyy. While this issue won't be caused by this remove the following:

• Arrest Manager
• PeterUCallouts
• PoliceSmartRadio
• Vocal Dispatch - Replace it with Grammar Police
• Assorted Callouts
• HighPriority Callouts
• Traffic Policer

These are all out of date and can cause frequent crashes and system instability!

also lspdfr+ often causes crashes and issues so that might be a possiblity aswell.

The issue is not caused by any of his plugins - these haven't been loaded yet. However all the Plugins I outlined above should be removed.

Thanks. I have indeed reinstalled LSPDR

 

I was on 4.7 when the issue happened and upgraded to 4.8 (automatically). It still crashed so I reinstalled again (manually this time) and it just kept crashing.

I see. Well could you try uninstalling LSPDFR then installing it.

Basically the issue you are experiencing is access being denied to a LSPDFR core file - while I don't know why this is I believe it may be something to do with it becoming corrupted. That is why I suggest doing a reinstall - it has worked on everyone who also had this issue : D

Just did a manual reinstall.

 

Rage couldn't unblock LSPDFR.dll (i clicked yes and the tab kept reappearing): https://imgur.com/a/rhFT0gK

 

So I made a new plugins folder, moved all the plugins there then it unblocked. So you're right it had something to do with permissions.  Anyways, GTA V finally managed to work again 😁. TYSM for your help... i might be back tho if it's a fluke

I renamed the mods folder to _mods to check if the game works on its own and it did. 

 

I'll have to redownload every single vehicle mod, patch, skin, etc (weeks of openIV)

That is annoying. You could try re tracing your steps?
