Curious what snow mod people use as of late. I used to use the snowball mod, but lately I’ve noticed that while visually it still works nicely, when I try to disable or toggle snowballs off, it has an error. Is this the most commonly used one, or do people have just as good experiences with the other ones out there too.

'Simple native Trainer' has an option to toggle 'SNOW' under weather. It's that same weather effect that R* uses for the Xmas Stuff with Online 

Is the native trainer different than the simple trainer that I currently use? Always been curious about this, as I typically delete the native and use the simple one instead.

Native Trainer is the one that comes with ScriptHookV. Its nice for being a starter trainer but useless for advanced stuff. Simple Trainer offers a lot more functionality and control over the environment and is perfect for Machinimas or just feeling like the almighty Kraff himself!

Okay awesome, that's what I had figured (having only used simple trainer because its got so much more to it). So the snow/weather options would be the same for both then specifically in regards to snow effects? Just looking for a good ground cover as well as falling snow.

I believe so. It should be the same, just like 0taku mentioned.

Just an update, I downloaded Native and tried it and ultimately deleted it ha. Unfortunately with both trainers, the snow only appears falling, but none is on the ground like with a plugin mod. I’ll try some of the other mods available and see which one seems best at this point.

If this script doesn't work properly for you and you are willing to try another trainer, Menyoo is a good option. Keep in mind though it is by no means a lite trainer and it isn't the most simple either, it does have a lot of control over just about everything though.

I use the the simple trainer and the snow works for me

Just a heads up, I didn't realize that Simple Trainer had been updated shortly after the last update came out. Once I updated it to the most current, the snow feature for it works! Posting this to help any other people that are curious about this aspect and to confirm that no other mod or plugin is required as mentioned above. Thanks for the help!
