Yeah, I just re-installed my GTAIV (GameStop copy) due to it was not working, and now I updated it and now it crashes at loading screens.

I tried installing xliveless but that didn't work.

System Specs:

HP Workstation 8200 SFF

1GB AMD Radeon HD 6670

8GB RAM

    I would reinstall the patch you are using, and make sure you are using everything to make the game moddable, I had a similar problem after i updated my operating system to windows 7.

    I had to install everything again i.e redist, netframework, c++ etc (sorry cant remember everything lol)

    If you do this try it again and run the game as admin :o)

    Also if your using the online features try not to use xlive, and try using d.sound, hope this helps you resolve your issue mate :o)
