ELS Quit Working

Featured Replies

I took a vacation over the weekend and was happy to jump back into GTA, except now, my ELS cars don't work. By that, I mean the audio ques are there and siren/horn work, but visually, nothing flashes except the taillights. What's more odd, is prior to my vacation, everything was working flawlessly. I've tried deleting and reinstalling ELS and the AdvancedHookV.dll, tried changing the cars, double checked to make sure the VCFs were correct which they were, and nothing.  Is there anything else I could try to fix the problem?

Try reinstalling ELS, all of its components, ScripthookV.

See if you can open the ELS panel with Control+P.

Make sure your Xml's are in the correct folder. It's the pack_default folder. Try reinstalling the Xml's.

If those don't work, uninstall the ASI loaders, close OpenIV, open OpenIV, install the ASI loaders again, then restart the computer.

That's normally what causes ELS to malfunction once in a while.

Give that a try.

The ASI Method worked, thank you! That's a new method for me as well, I'll keep that in mind for next time it has problems.
