I need help yet again! So when GTA updated to 2060.1 I don't remember adding anything and so once I added the new ScriptHookV I went to start it and it got to the first loading screen and immediately crashed! So then I did all the usual stuff checked crashed report verified game data and then uninstalled and reinstalled GTA. Once I did t hat now it gets to the second loading screen and crashes. Also, crash reports say no plugin was active at the time. Here's the log:

Have you updated your Mods folder in OPENIV?

 

Does the game start without Rage?

Yes I updated my mods folder in OpenIV. And no it crashes like 10 seconds after I click story mode without Rage.

You can try this:

 

Go in your Settings of RagePluginHook (start RPH -> click after start on the gear)

then the settings will open

 

 

on the first page you finde the option "plugin timeout threshold"

set this value on "30000"

then click on "Save & Restart"

I have that set to 50000 and it still crashes.Thank you tho. Also, the crash report says there are no plugins running at the time of the crash.

Can you please clear your "commandline.txt" in the main directory of Grand Theft Auto V. (Just the content!)

And please create a folder exception for the GTA 5 main directory in your antivirus program.

May I add try to rename your folder to mods_ to see if something in there is causing this issue - as it clearly isn't LSPDFR or RAGE

may well be possible.

 

In any case, an error occurs here when loading the files. You can never rule out that files are up to date.

Yes but if it didn't load without Rage then LSPDFR files - up to date or not wouldn't affect it.

 

However, external plugins could also be causing this issue

Hey @Charlie686,

 

Then he should have checked the game files for errors in the launcher. I just didn't see he'd tried it without RPH.

 

@Sweet T Gaming, so: rename the mods folder in _mods (underscore + mods) and see if it loads / works.

If not, check the gamefiles in the launcher.

It did load when I renamed it mods_.

So, @BlackADITUM and @Charlie686 it is my mods folder that has the issue so I will just slowly reinstall all my mods that go in there. I'll tell you if I figure out what it is. Thank you guys for the help!

Aha ha! So the error is something in there! Have you made any changes recently?

If you can't root down what is causing the error I advise making a backup and then deleting it and creating a new one.

Then add your addons/mods to it and if there are no errors the great but if you have an error you will know what it causing it!

Yeah. I can't think of changes I've made recently. I have a feeling it might be a car I added.

Yes I do. When I removed it and tried to load the game it still crashed.
