Ok, I figured out how to load it and now LSPDF and first response won't load. just won't load. No plugins, nothing. Just sits there. Attached the crash report. Any help would be so much appreciated.

If Rage is loading forever, then you probably have not updated your update.rpf in OpenIV.

It doesn't load forever. When the game starts I'm standing on the street in my uniform and nothing loads and when I hit F4 it says LSPDF has crashed. It's just like I'm in the normal GTA V game except I'm in my cop character. And then nothing. Nothing is loading or anything. 

 

I will try to update that file if I can figure out how to do this. I'm still pretty much new to all of this. I really don't know how to update this file. I can't find anything.

 

I got a feeling I'm gonna need to do a complete re-install of the game.

Do you use OpenIV for installing vehicles etc? If not, you wouldn’t have to update the update.rpf, and in that case it wouldn’t be the issue.
 

Do you have Rage Plugin Hook automatically load LSPDFR? If so, does it load along with your LSPDFR character upon getting into the game?

 

You said LSPDFR crashes when you press F4, which opens the console. That alone wouldn’t usually crash LSPDFR. When you type “forceduty” is that the time when LSPDFR crashes? 
 

If possible, can you provide a video or screenshots of what’s going on? Dont worry, I struggled at first with LSPDFR crashes when I first started playing a while back too.

Hey, thanks for helping. I tried everything I could. Yes to all your questions, except the F4 thing. It didn't crash, it wouldn't load when I tried to load first response. It would just crash again. 

I went ahead and installed a clean copy and just figured it would be for the best. Still haven't tested everything yet. If I have any issues with it that I can't solve I'll post about it.

Hey, I did a clean install of everything and have been installing mods tonight. But a few issues I'm running into that I didn't before. I downloaded LSPDFR+ and it says there's a conflict when the plugins load. I also have it set to load all pugins on startup in Rage, but nothing loads when the game starts. I start out as one of the actual GTA V characters and then I have to load the plugin myself, then they will load and go to LSPDR, but then I have to force duty. Once there, I try to open the EUP menu and it won't work. I might be pressing the wrong key, but I didn't change anything from last time. 

 

I also did a car pack and followed Benzo's guide to a T, and still have the original cars in the game. Ugh, it's just so frustrating because I had just gotten everything exactly how I wanted it and it was working perfectly before this damn update. 

 

If you have any ideas to help, I would appreciate it. Thanks

LSPDFR+ gives everyone that message since it hasn’t been updated since LSPDFR 4.2. LSPDFR+ still works though. 
 

For Rage not loading the plugins, instead of selecting “load all plugins on startup,” try enabling them individually with the “load these plugins on startup”. Then you check off the ones you want to load. If you can manually load the Rage plugins in game,  you installed them correctly. 
 

For EUP, make sure you installed both Law and Order and the EUP menu.  
 

Make sure the cars are in Patchday 22, as Patchday23 doesn’t allow you to replace all cars.

Ah ok. That's the issue with the cars then. And I ended up deleting LSPDFR+. I was thinking it was causing issue. I guess I can re-download that. And I will try tick the boxes manually in Rage. 

 

I did install both EUP and Law and Order. But I will go back and see if I maybe put them in the wrong folder or something.

So I seem to have gotten everything to work except the game loading LSPDFR and the plugins upon startup. I can't get into the Rage settings. I click settings then it just closes. 

 

And the one thing now that's messed up is when I hit A to chase or tap it repeatedly, the mini map keeps expanding and going back then expanding. Can't find what is causing this.
