Hey guys, I am having an issue updating GTA 5. Steam is not recognizing there is an update and when I try to launch the game rockstar game launcher tells me I have to update the game before playing. Is there a manual way to update GTA 5? I verified my game files and its recognized by steam but will not update. What am I doing wrong?

try re-verifying your game version through steam by opening steam>click GTA V in library>settings of the game>properties>local files>verify integrity of game files

let steam run the 2 tests and then it should update. it will probably say something like"cant verify the integrity of 8 files, files will be automatically fixed" click ok and it will update. It did for me. then make sure you update RPH and LSPDFR. ScripthookV is still not released so ELS and a multitude of other .asi programs will not operate until the patch for scripthookV is released sometime this weekend.
