Is this a good PC?

Featured Replies

So finally after searching for a good PC to run the latest games, including GTA iV, I found this:

CPU - Intel core i7 @3.4 GHz

Main Board - Asus P8B75

RAM - 8GB DDR3

HDD - 1.5 TB

VGA - GTX 560 SuperClocked 2GB

22" Monitor

550 watts power supply

Win 7 Pro 64 bit.

Note: This is a custom build PC.

It seems good to me. I mean, I don't have that exact build,so I can't guarantee. I'm going to guess your video card is from EVGA?

Well I think it's from EVGA. But is SC better than OC?

Yes that is a pretty good build almost the same as mine, I wouldn't waste the money on that I7, I would get the intel I5 2500k because its basically the same thing in gaming you can't notice any difference in performance between a I7 and a I5 2500k. Going to change some stuff on your build so you can see what I mean ( power supply should be about a 600 watt or so)

CPU - Intel i5-2500k Sandy Bridge 3.3.GHZ ( 3.7GHz Turbo Boost)

Main Board - Asus P8B75

RAM - 8GB DDR3

HDD - 1.5 TB

VGA - GTX 560 SuperClocked 2GB

22" Monitor

600 watts power supply

Win 7 Pro 64 bit

Let me link you to the CPU and the PSU

Unfortunately, the store only has 550 and 750 watts. I told the staff that I don't know which one to pick, he told that 550 will work enough.

Thanks though.

Why don't you just order the parts off of new egg? Just copy and paste the parts and add it to your cart. Will probably save money to...

If you want to do that and need help just PM me

Actually, it's not an online store. I am getting it from a local gaming store. And the staff of course are good with these stuff. Thanks for trying to help. (:
