Can't accept callouts

Featured Replies

Whenever I press "y" to accept a callout, nothing happens and I'm unable to accept any. It was working and now suddenly isn't and I hadn't installed any mods or plugins. I've made sure that ELS doesn't clash with the key binds.

I have ADHD so assume everything I've made was a random thing that took a week, done to really high detail at 3am and I won't make anything for the next few months after 🙂

@Nicolas2321 attempted crime, calloutsT, more robberies, simple callouts, super callouts, variety callouts.

It's all callouts, not just one from a specific pack.

Okay.

Not sure if you have other keys not working, but try this first:

In the 'Advanced Settings' tab of RageHook, you untick the 'Disable DirectX Hook'.

This will allow those features to work properly

@Nicolas2321 I'm absolutely on duty. Either just walking in and doing normally or force duty after reloading all plugins because of this error.

While I look further into this, could you load into the game with LSPDFR, press ESC, and go to LSPDFR. See if there's a keybind for Y in there.

@Nicolas2321 I checked for that before asking, it's definitely there.

@ToKe From what I see here, there are some prob;ems with content manager, pretty much ending callouts. After this, your games begins to force you to go off duty.

I'm researching as much as possible, but haven't found much. I don't personally know the fix, but I'm trying to see if others have had the same problem had solved the issue.

StartCallout: There's already a callout running. Aborting...
LSPD First Response: EndCurrentCallout: Finishing...

Then you forced duty and it seems to be fine with no errors.

Traffic Policer  & PoliceSmartRadio both haven't been updated, so I suggest removing those as it could cause issues, possibly issues you're facing.

I'm going to keep looking, but this is as far as my knowledge goes. As a last resort, un-install all plugins or even LSPDFR itself and reinstall.

@Nicolas2321 when you say "haven't been updated", do you mean as in the general page by albo? Because someone, can't remember who, updated the .dll files for the albo files so they would work with 0.4.7.

@ToKe Well yea, like Traffic policer hasn't been updated since 2019. My guess is that it could be part of the issue. My suggestion is you at least try to get your callouts working before you try and fix and update non-essential plugins.

I had a issue where i need to blip a vechicle to pullover at the start of my patrols so that LSPDFR would function, its odd like LSPDFR would unload itself try it out and see if it works for you.

I have this same exact issue as well. I have basically the same callouts installed too. When I look through my RPH Log I, however, don't see my LSPDFR going off duty though.

EDIT: I think I figured out what was causing my issue, so hopefully it can help somebody else..

When I normally play I just force duty in the console, but I was not selecting my saved character in the EUP menu. LSPDFR must notice that so you're not able to blip vehicles or accept callouts after a little bit or immediately when you go on duty I guess..? Lol
