For whatever reason i can not for the life of me can not get any els police cars to work properly with the lighting, only the tail lights flash everytime, and ive tried almost every single possible fix ive seen, uninstalling the stuff in openiv and reinstalling and starting pc nope didnt work, ive reinstalled the entire game, ive reinstalled the cars, ive deleted the plugins and reinstalled them and that didnt work,  ive tried the  dim fix and that wasnt it, ive reinstalled els, i have the vehicle meta files imported for the set of vehicles im using. Nothing has worked theres no config file to edit the vcf names for els, yes all my .xml files are in the proper folder. i dont know if the script hook i have works for the epic games version, i have rage plugin hook and the prompts to spawn stuff in and other stuff works fine ive tried with several vehicles not a single ones lights work please help me im out of options and i dont know how something could be wrong ive watched detailed videos on how to install everything ive put in and they always worked perfectly for them but not for me. ive watched tons of videos of "els lighting fix" and others and done exactly what they say still does not work im litteraly out of options ive not been able to find anymore possible solutions

Post a few screenshots of your GTA root folder along with your ELS folder

i have the exact same problem and a lot of other people do as well so the screen shots are probably not going to help much i did end up fixing it BUT the light are now messed up the colors are broken the latest version of ELS came out in 2017!!! so i think it needs to be updated again even thought the person working on it abandoned it the mod may be officially out dated and some one needs to take it over so we can get a newer version and get all these bugs fixed because this bug NEVER happened before so if you want to fix it first 

 

#1 OPEN, openIV go to asi manager and uninstall asi loader then close openIV

 

#2 REOPEN, openIV reinstall the asi loader

 

#3 RESTART PC THEN PLAY GAME

 

it should work it did for me but the police lights are broken the blues are white and the red are a yellow or amber color i tried 3 different police packs and it still did the same thing

I had the same problem a few days ago. I ended up reinsatalling the whole game, after countless hours of trying to fix ELS. Now it works just fine. 

 

If the thing bob mentioned isnt working, try something that once helped me:

 

- download the latest version of scripthook

- remove the old one from your game folder

- remove the whole ELS folder from your game folder

- open OpenIV,  uninstall ASI loader, close OpenIV, Reopen OpenIV and install the ASI loader

- restart PC

- install the newest scripthook

- move the ELS folder back into the game folder

i found my fix this worked for me my lights are working properly now theres a few things you have to have and now my lights work thank god

 

but now i have no siren wth

I've had the same issue make sure your selecting the right ELS folders
