Sheriff Cruiser lightbar is missing?

Featured Replies

So I downloaded Default Police Pack [ELS] by obtainchi and installed most police cars. All of them work perfectly except the Sheriff Cruiser, which now spawns with no lightbar. The odd thing is, when I select the vehicle in the LSPDFR garage it appears with a lightbar, but when I continue I roll out with a slicktop version. Spawning the car in with a trainer makes it slicktop too. The car mod is placed in Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

Now before putting it there, I actually put it in Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ instead.

I realized the issue after I loaded in the game, so I deleted the x64e.rpf from my mods folder and replaced it with the one in the ROOT GTA V folder. Then I installed the sheriff cruiser in the right directory. I figured this would've fixed the issue but it hasn't.

No No... you made wrong to x64e.fp, you must install it into x64 folder and before you lost a path: you lost the update folder (after mods folder)

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

The path you indicate is wrong, follow it correctly. Before install vehicles you must copy and paste update and x64 folder into mods folder and follow the cars file path. Is recommend install them into the latest patchday

I checked my files and both the "update" and "x64" folders are inside the "mods" folder already.

Ok good also select the correct file path and select the latest patchday

So the correct file path is Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf ? (patchday3ng is the latest I have)

Only in the sheriff cruiser missed the light bar?

Yes. The sheriff cruiser was part of a pack, most of them had to be installed in latest patchday including the sheriff vehicle. The only two vehicles that had to be installed in \mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ were "police" and "policeb". Both of them work fine, though.

Can you try reinstalling the package?! At the point I think that the author of the mod has not yet implemented it

I have tried reinstalling the sheriff cruiser before and it didn't help. When I say package I don't mean it's one thing you install, all the cars are separate with their own individual readme's on where to install them. I don't think he would've included the sheriff cruiser if it wasn't finished.

it's likely to be so

I have found a fix. I simply deleted the sheriff.xml that came with the mod from my ELS\pack_default and now the sheriff cruisers have a lightbar. The only downside is that ELS obviously does not work on the car. Must be a bug in the mod.

@obtainchi Maybe I'm wrong but I'll tag the creator to let him know regardless.
