hey yall,

 

so i just completly installed GTA5 via Epic games (had it on steam before but that CDcode is blocked due to being hacked) so im glad its free now.

So i followed all steps in every single tutorial on how to install LSPDFR and Rage plugin Hook.

but for some reason, when i launche Rage, it Launches social club, the gives me a button i need to press wich says ''play on EG''
then i launches epic games, and gta5 via there. so not the modded folder, wich causes rage plugin to stop starting gta 5 modde up..

any help pls?

Go into normal gta via epic games, if you haven't already play the prologue and then alt+tab out and then open rage.

ill try that now. i have the prologue and some other missions done already so i shopuld be safe 🙂

but i have 2 versions, a modded and a clean one. does it matter that the rage hook is not installed in the clean (EG one) folder?

Open the gta that rage is installed in.

And make sure that the folder name is "Grand Theft Auto V"

folder name is GTAV. just as in epic games.
but when i try and launce the ''play GTAv'' it launches social club and errors out..

so hang on. from the start.

i have installed GTA5 tonight. it is done. played the first couple of missions so that you can free roam.
after that, i safed the game. and coppied the WHOLE game to a different location, so that i have 1 clean version (the epic games one) and one rage version.
When i launce rage plugin hook, it starts up social club. after social club is started, i NEED to press play via EG. after that it just launches the clean version instead of the modded one. 

get it? 😕

What's the name of the clean one?

the game exe is located in D:\Games\GTAV

This is just how epic games named it

Name the one you are using "Grand Theft Auto V" and rename the one you are not using to something else. I'm pretty sure that rage needs to launch the one called that.

got it working mate, thankms for all the help!!
i have rage now wotking via the original epic games folder. instead of the other one. so ill keep that one as clean backup 😛

Hi guys, could someone please explain to me from the start on how to install the rage plugin into gta 5 from epic games. Thanks 

Hi there! I'm new to all this and hoping someone can tell me what I need to download etc to download LSPDFR and how to download them? I want to try it out on the epic games GTAV. 🙂

i am now confused with whether or not you can get it on the epic launcher can someone please explain! ty.
