Hello. 

 

So apparently I can get banned from online if I have LSPDFR installed. My SSD doesn't have enough space for 2 copies of GTA and installing it on my external HDD would make the game even slower than it is now.

 

What I'm asking is, if I download LSPDFR using the manual installation and play single, then if I want to play online will it be enough to just remove all the files? Or do new files get created? Do the GTA files get changed too? Do some files get replaced? I got the game from Epic if it makes any difference.

 

If this would actually work, what would be the easiest way to remove the files when needed? Seems like removing them one by one would take some time.

Hello, you cannot get banned from GTA Online for simply having the LSPDFR and RPH files in your directory.

 

If you add other files (mods, scripts (scripthookV, file edits) outside of the LSPDFR modification, then you would have to remove those files prior to playing GTA Online or otherwise disable them (remove them or rename them). 

So if I install the mod and leave it in the folder, will I be able to safely play online? None of the files will trigger ban?

LSPDFR shouldn't even load if I don't launch the game using the rage hook, right?

 

I did my research before this and almost everyone keeps saying that to not get banned during online I need to have completely clean copy of the game.

 

Sorry if I'm being annoying, I just want to be absolutely sure. Not everyday I get a game I've wanted for the last few years for free.

Correct. if you try to launch GTA Online with RagePluginHook loaded, it will crash to prevent a ban. If you are paranoid, you can remove the files before playing. But I've been playing GTA Online since a long time back, with the RPH still in my folder.
