It crashes ONLY when getting in to a Police Car WHILE on duty

I am not new to LSPDFR and I understand how to (most of the time) read the RagePluginHook text file if it crashes but this is new to me.  I have tried these troubleshooting steps:

 

• remove recent plugins
• reinstall reshade
  • tried performance mode too
  • tried uninstalling it too (then it wouldn't even load the game)
• reinstall enb
• running it without being on 'duty'
  • works perfectly
• reinstalling ragepluginhook
  • including all Scripthook files

 

Mods Currently Added:

• reshade
• ENBseries 
• CryENBV (which overrides reshade(config file), ENB(config files))
• VisualV
• NaturalVision Remastered (added after VisualV, unsure if this changed VisualV's files)
• LSPDFR (of course) 

 

 

What I am hoping to avoid doing is reinstalling it all so please help 😄

Is it any police car or just the one? If it's just the one, rename your mods folder to _mods and retry. If it is all of them, and it works without going on duty, go into plugins folder > and rename the LSPDFR folder in there to _LSPDFR, try again. Please come back with the results, and what you did.

Yeah it's all of them but I will try that right now. Thank you for the quick response and actually responding in general hah! Will write back here after trying 🙂

By all of them, do you mean the police vehicles or all vehicles in general? If it is just police vehicles, rename your mods folder to _mods to see if that makes any difference.

Just police cars and only when on duty. But if do "_mods" LSPDFR plugin won't work will it?

Rage and lspdfr will still work, your modded cars will not.

As in I can't go "on duty"?

You can go on duty. It will just stop your replaced or added cars, if they have something to do with the crash.

Game is still open atm and I can't do "forceduty" or even "GoToPD"

It didn't crash that time... what do you think the problem is? too many DLC? I have a lot... oh also I do have this new one I forgot to mention: LA Roads or something it's a 2k texture pack for the roads but I don't see how that could effect it

Okay, you can go back to your plugins folder, and rename your lspdfr folder back to LSPDFR. Unfortunately, we don't know what could be the issue in your mods folder. You can either create a new one and start over, or delete things one by one. Please note: putting _ in front of a folder disables it, just for next time. I hope this helps.

Well thank you very much and it's sad that I wouldn't have even thought to do those steps if you didn't say to do them... I wish I was kidding but I didn't even think to do it slowly and the correct way. See that's why it's always good to get a second opinion. Thank you very much for your time 🙂
