I need help finding any gaming computers that will run lspdfr under $500

Featured Replies

"Gaming laptop" is an oxymoron. A laptop that's good enough to run GTA 5 with decent graphics is going to run you well past $500, get damn hot in doing so, and you won't be able to stay unplugged for very long without your battery running down.

Your best bet is to get a proper tower. If portability is a concern, there's a lot of smaller form-factor cases out there that you can choose from that'll slot a fullsize GPU. Plus, when the hardware eventually obsoletes, it's a lot easier to replace individual components on a tower than it is on a laptop, and doing so usually won't void your manufacturer's warranty.

A modern laptop might be able to run GTA 5 at lower settings, but you're going to quickly be unsatisfied with the quality if you still decide to go the route of a laptop over a desktop.

In other words

  • Portability
  • Power
  • Cost

Pick two.
