err_sys_invalidrescoure_5 when spawning addon car

Featured Replies

as the title says I get the error err_sys_invalidrescoure_5 when spawning an addon car that I bought from redneck its his 2019 dodge durango from his valor pack asked for support in his discord but nothing no help, I've tried everything everyone has suggested with no fix, I even tried using my original updated unmodified copy of gta 5 (this copy works with gta online and have tested it so no mods no errors nothing) made a copy of my unmodified game put ragehookplugin in and scripthook and a game config to spawn addons cars (along with the heap and packfile adjuster as recommended for the gameconfig ) only mod in the game was the 19 durango from redneck and it still crashes my game with an err_sys_invalidrescoure_5...

I've tired everything I can think of and so far no one has a reasonable solution and need help!! and a side note in my main modded game is up to date nothing is corrupted and i rebuilt my mods folder and re added mods and the car still crashes that game but every other car I've added since doesn't have this error so any imput would be greatly appreciated

also can post logs if need just need to know what logs u guys would need

Hello,

When it comes to addons, there is only a few tips I can give you.

1. Remember that the addon pack goes into mods/update/x64/dlcpacks. And the dlclist.xml line goes in through OpenIV in this location: mods/update/update.rpf/common/data. Make sure to extract the dlclist.xml before adding it.
2. Double check the lines in the dlclist.xml to make sure they match up with the rest and aren't missing anything.

3. Make sure you have F7YO's gameconfig installed along with the Packfile Limit Adjuster and Heap Adjuster.

Beyond that, there isn't much more that can be added.

Thanks! 🙂

thats the gameconfig i use and I know how to add a dlc file some of the cars in the same dlc file work but the one car listed above doesnt it causes the crash when spawning it but the other cars in the same dlc pack work and I've tried everything from adding the car to my unmodded backup of gta 5 (which i use for online) and it was the only car installed but it still crashes.. so could it just be a model issue??

because when I contacted the dev who i bought it from they say it must be my game because no one else has had this issue and his pack has been out for 6 months but some else has this issue with a different car but since our issues are with 2 different cars from the same packs and everyone else including the dev only uses them for fivem and not single player they dont know how to help and its killing me because if i cant get the car to work it was a waste of $18 lol

Yeah...Im at a loss too. There might be something wrong with it in singleplayer. Cause all you should have to do is add the folder and then the line and that is it.
