No "Patchday" folder in mod path

Featured Replies

Hello,

I want to replace the standard police vehicles with the @0sc4rs LSPD Mega Pack. I already downloaded ELS and a gameconfig for the latest patch and according to the ReadMe now I just need to copy the files into Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\"LATEST PATCHDAY"\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ but when I go into the mods folder in OpenIV I don´t see any patchday folders in the dlcpacks folder, only a folder for EUP.  Does anybody know if I just should move to the regular dlcpacks folder ? I then get the warning that this is not in the mods folder. What should I do ?

You need to create the patchdays yourself.

To do this, go into the vanilla (unedited) update-->x64--->dlcpacks.  Here you should see all of your patchdays.  Go into the latest one and click "edit mode".  You should see a red box telling you to create this path in the mods folder.  Do it.

You will need to do this in the future if there's ever another patchday you want to edit.

Just one question, if you don´t mind. Do I absolutely need a gameconfig for these vehicle mods ? What do they even really do ? I just have fear of destroying my game, that´s all

The modified gameconfigs will change the game so that it can support modded cars, and support more add-on cars if you wish to install them.

I completely understand your fear, but as long as you use a mods folder, you're good.
