lights not flashing when rotated

Has anyone had this problem and if so, what is the remedy? In zmod if the light is facing foward it flashes fine in game, if I rotate the light 90 degrees to mount on the side of the car, the light then doesnt flash unless looking at it from an angle. 

 

Im a noob when it comes to zmod3, Last zmod I used was zmod1 back when I was modding for NFS:HS
