(0 reviews)

4 Screenshots

Hey Guys !! welcome, this is my first post, and my very first try at fixing a texture for a police car in GTA-5. , i started playing LSPDFR about a month ago , and i really loved all the good scripts, textures, models , and plugins that i have found in this webpage , and i wanted to contribute a little to this cause by fixing a texture , of the Lafayette Indiana police department.

I will add the respective PNG files , which you can add to the .YTD files of the respective Models.

File 1. - Charger 2014-31220

File 2.- Charger 2015-31220

***Please be aware that these designs were made for the Dodge Charger 2014 model , and the Dodge Charger 2015.

*** I tried on different models to see if they would fit but unfortunately they didn't.

Please bare with me as this is my first texture, and i will really appreciate all the comments and suggestions, i am open to continue doing more.

If any of you have any request please let me know in the comments bellow !!

I am looking forward to keep enhancing this community , and learn more , as i develop my skills as a designer.

Looks pretty good for your first texture. Just a couple of things to change if you want to make it super accurate. LPD cars do not "In God We Trust" under the POLICE decal. They also do not have numbers on the doors of their vehicles. Other than that, it looks pretty good for your first skin

I believe the officer that had that on his car got in some hot water with the city council. I'm from Lafayette so I see their cars quite a lot

awesome ! funny thing about this car texture is , that i am from lafayette as well , but lafayette louisiana , lol , and i wanted to replicate some of the cars i have seen here, so i started to look for images on google and i found one from a charger with the lafayette words. it wasnt familiar, but it all made sense when i found the lafayette police department shield... haha so i said to myself, why not... and i finished it .

Their cars are good looking for sure. Much better than they looked a couple of years ago

@minifender7 If you're looking for information on Indiana cars, specifically in the area of Lafayette (Funny, I'm in Lafayette Oregon) - @troud38 is an excellent source of information. He's the one that suggested, and helped me work on the Tippecanoe County vehicle pack below. :)
