COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: Why aren't my lights bright?
A: You do not have light-enhancing mods installed. Download RadianceV and/or other mods that increase emergency lighting brightness.

Q: Will you please help me ins--
A: Did you read the readme? No? Sorry, can't help you. Yes? Then ask here.

Q: I dont have Patchday9?
A: Then put the car in your latest pactch day, or copy patchday9 over.

Q: Why does my game crash after I install the car/meta/carvar?
A: I don't know, it works in my game.

Q: Will you send me ______?
A: No.

Q: Can I take the CHP skins and make them SAHP?
A: Go for it, BUT YOU MUST GIVE CREDITS TO WINDOWS446. If you don't, god help your soul.

PACK NOTES

-This is probably one of the most comprehensive packs that i've ever made for GTA, and one of the most comprehensive ever made for CHP

-It features aroujnd 10a vehicles and a huge thanks to OfficerAMR for making two versions, one where they are mainly addon vehicles, and one where
they replace the default vehicles.

- Another huge thanks to Requiem for taking all the beautiful screenshots for me, and also always helping me with the small annoying bugs that come up
with the models from now and again.

- I'd like to give another shoutout to the numerous people who helped me with the pictures and specs of the actual vehicles. There are too many people tom
list but, they know who they are.

- There are a few vehicles that I didn't include like the 2015 expedition and the 2013 tahoe.

- There are alot of vehicles to choose from, so i mean you're more then welcome to use all of them.

- As with all my models, let me know if there is any bugs or issues with the models, please let me know!

yes steam 1.0.791.2. I'm guessing if it's because i'm using a laptop?Because i have some strange problem with Reshade too.

Possibly. Though unlikely.

If this doesn't fix it i have no clue what will.

What i need you to do is extract all the addon cars into a folder or desktop. get the original uneditied Mpchristmas2 folder and place it in your mods folder (if you have one) or verify integrity of chache to give you back the unedited version, load the game up and check that its working. If it doesn't work tell me at that point

If it does load come back and i'll give you the two files and that go into mpchristmas2 and then you'll have to place the cars back into mpchristmas2 and check if it loads then. Which is should

791.2 Retail.
No reason why it'd be different other than the install location.

ok. I replace with the original xpchristmas2 and it can load in game.

No it shouldn't but you never know. I'm thinking that somethings weird with my DLC.rpf thats not agreeing with other peoples dlc,rpf

Neither of those two files worked, will try with the default mpchristmas2 now.

That good news, thats narrowed down the issue. What you need to do now is place all the cars back into mpchristmas 2 and install each of these one at a time (make backups of the original)

Just so you're clear

Install the carvariations meta into Mpchristmas2 and check if it loads.

If it does still load, place the vehicles meta into mpchristmas2 and see if that also loads.

I know I'm asking a lot, but is there any chance of making the hwaycars downloadable so we can install them manually? As it is, I have a crap ton of standalone cars, metas, varations,, ec. I really don't want to install new folders/files, just want to install the cars myself.

Yah its best if you dont add anything on top of the standalone meta, i tried it your game will break.

All the cars can be manually included in the replace version. You can pick and choose from there. All the cars use light setting 1 expect for the Vector so it should be fine to place them wherever you would like.

Open the replace folder and you'll see a file which is called "Vehicles" open it and you can choose which ones to install if you'd so choose

Thanks. I had only looked in the add-on folder, which was why I didn't see them all.

All of the cars can be added on their own, but won't show up at all.
Adding any of the 2 meta's makes my game crash.
If you want you can teamviewer into my PC and get it sorted straight from my game files since at this point I question if it's even worth this much effort...

Just so you're clear

Install the carvariations meta into Mpchristmas2 and check if it loads.

ok.I think i found what's the problem is.I install the car one by one.and if i install more than 5 cars.The game crash.like i install hwaycar1 2 3 4 5 or hwaycar 1 2 3 4 7.It won't crash.But if i install hwaycar1 2 3 4 5 6.The game crash on the loadscreen.

Oh right.I don't know why my game will crash when install more than 5 car.But i can get in to game now.

The metas and carvars work fine for me, but now I suffer the map not loading right and the vehicles not spawning. I assume it has something to do with the formatting, because if you look at the format of his carvar and meta that I copied, then look at the third or fourth one down, you can see mine is organized and formatted properly. His is not. I could be wrong, maybe formatting doesn't matter.

To clarify, @Starmix and @officerAMR I simply copied the meta/carvar for the specific car and pasted it into my carvar/metas.

Sorry for the triple post, but I have verified his car variations is the issue. For whatever reason, either he intentionally formatted it that way or that was how it turned out and he didn't realize, but the game does NOT like that format at all. I replace his carvar line with my own template I use for all standalone vehicles, and well-la! The cars are spawning and no map issue.

That's because you've hit the max amount of add on cars in that dlc folder. That'll also be an issue in the latest title update version of GTA. To fix this either edit the gameconfig.xml or take the one from here

Maybe start a support forum for this, because it gets to me when random people message me asking how do install this car you've never used before? When I install it it doesn't work. I can only imagine how bad it must be trying to sort through all the meta issues people are getting.
