More audio features: handcuffs and more police scanner (All folder paths included)
Actually i wanted to point to that as well, If audio files get added to LSPDFR the size will grow larger. Will this be a problem? I hope you figure out a way to play the files within the game itself. Your code is not a part of the game but It uses files belonging to the game in the game itself. That doesn't seem violations of copyright to me, But i guess sadly the laws say something else.

More audio features: handcuffs and more police scanner (All folder paths included)
Hello I'm an audio junky and I've went through all GTA sounds with open IV. I know that If you go through files you can easily guess what is what, but I made this post to write down exact path for each audio file for handcuffing and some police scanner features that still is not in LSPDFR. Hopefully it will help sam and other plugin developers. I have included the folder names for audio files so you can easily check it. Handcuff sound - currently there's no sound for handcuffing. Here's the related audio file in GTA V itself: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\SCRIPT.rpf\handcuffing.awc Police scanner. single suspect: Suspect arrested: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_suspect_arrested.awc suspect is down/neutralized: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_suspect_wasted.awc Lost the suspect/target has avaded officers: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_suspect_eluded_pt_1.awc Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_suspect_eluded_pt_2.awc multiple suspects: One of suspects is in custody while police is still in pursuit of others: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_crook_arrested.awc One of suspects are down while police still in pursuit of others: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_crook_killed.awc All/multiple suspects are apprehended: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_all_crooks_caught.awc Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_crooks_arrested.awc All suspects/criminals are killed: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_crooks_killed.awc All suspects escaped: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_crooks_escaped.awc Situation under control/code 4/stand down: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_no_further_units.awc Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_stand_down.awc Officer down: Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_officer_down.awc The files below are perhaps for future LSPDFR features that are not currently implemented Use of lethal/deadly force is authorized/not allowed (both situation files are in the same folder): Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_lethal_force.awc Air support is cleared/uncleared to immobilize the target (Both command files are in the same folder): Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\POLICE_SCANNER.rpf\01_air_support_shoot_tires.awc Hope This was useful Cheers

LSPD First Response 0.2 Beta
There are audio files for suspect(s) arrested and suspect(s) down in gta V, hopefully next updates we'll even have a better radio. A configuration for setting callout frequency, and dispatch update on suspect's location frequency would be great too. Also, It'd be cool If we could ask dispatch about suspect's location like the AI does

LSPD First Response 0.2 Beta
Sam, the audio update is amazing. Officers sometimes! ask for the location of the suspect and dispatch actually replies to them, This is glorious.

LSPDFR 0.2 Delay Update - 13 July
I can't wait to check out the new audio features in 0.2; Since i'm visually impaired i pay lots of attention to audio. I also am hoping that It gets released sooner than 01:00 AM BST but seeing that 0.1 and the delayed announcement were both made at 01.00 AM BST there are high chances that It's going to be at that time.

Police scanner and dispatch
Guys. I just went to the audio folder with open iv, and extracted all the police scanner radio files into a folder. (It's easy, just go to the police scanner folder, control+a, right click and extract all of the files into a folder. You cannot believe what i've seen. It's sample audio files for... I don't know, the most comprehensive police simulator ever. I can't explain how many samples are there, But I think It's more than what Need4Speed: Most Wanted has. It is amazing; Did they took all of these samples for LSPDFR? one cool thing i found: "Air support you're cleared to immobilize the suspect." There's too many files to describe.

LSPDFR 0.2 - Stun Guns & More
If they release it at 1 AM BST (0000 UTC) I will cry, Because that'll be 04:30 Iran time.

Play as a SWAT unit

(feature suggestion) set up a perimeter
I was thinking of a feature, in which you could aim at an area/suspect(s), then command Backup units to set up a perimeter around the scene. Here's the advantages of this: 1- They would stop all cars and peds approaching the scene. They either can stop them or direct them around it. This would fix the problem in which peds drive/walk through a scene, causing chaos. 2- Would help against suspects resisting arrest and escaping on foot after a car crash or a roadblock/pit success. 3- It Would be very fun to do and adds one more reason for people to use the Backup function of LSPDFR (some people don't use Backup at all, they think they are more of a problem than a help) Now, I believe Setting up a perimeter requires more than one Backup unit, Users with more familiarity with police/military ops should provide extra input to my suggestion. Plus, the Radius of the perimeter should be discussed and considered as well. I am not sure how much that should be. What's your idea about this suggestion guys. Do you think it would be doable with LSPDFR's engine?

Police scanner and dispatch

Police scanner and dispatch
Hi guys I don't know if you have noticed the improvements of police radio in GTA V. There is one big notable feature added which is very cool. Beside the intelligent dispatch which updates officers when the three protagonists are wanted, there is one new thing - Units now actually talk to each other, and dispatch sometimes responds to them by words such as "roger" Examples, I've heard units saying "suspect in sight, engaging", or"we're now in pursuit" Whenever they find the suspect. I also heard them asking for backup over radio. They also update the dispatch when the car of the suspect crashes, "Suspect's car has crashed", "his car is disabled". or things like "suspect is now in a vehicle" The chopper unit reports whenever he's inbound, he also reports when he loses/regains visual on the target. I wonder if the scanner is going to be included in LSPDFR in future versions, and how much interaction can we get between us and other units + dispatch.

What are your thoughts on the very first version of LSPDFR? What would you like to see in the future?
This mod is solid as rock for first beta release I'm going to update my questions: 1- The radio dispatch, I am looking forward to it 2- Currently, I didn't see any units joining my pursuit unless i ask for help. This is originally GTA V's fault because unlike GTA IV, there are no units walking/driving around the city. Will LSPDFR add patrolling units around the city in the future? or will it make a random popcycle.dat that we should install? Or we just need to use community popcycle.dat for that.

Hi Sam, I have a question. Will radio communication for callouts and backup will be also included in future versions? Dispatch radio that is.
