  1. This is a Toyota Hilux with Varley prisoner pod, created using the Qld Police Hilux released by KevinDV (). See more of KevinDV's files here on LCPDFR:http://www.lcpdfr.co...r/8683-kevindv/ Now enabled for ELS v8.5.

Just a few of the new features of this version include:
A new lightbar (Now ELS enabled)
Accurate police vehicle equipment including aerials, a mobile data terminal, a digital speedometer and a siren/lights controller
An LED message board (ELS secondary lights)
    New UV Mapping
And the now functional Varley prisoner pod, which will allow you to place one suspect in there for transport after arresting them in LCPDFR

This vehicle requires the Emergency Lighting System mod v8.5 by Lt. Caine for the lights to work.
A non-ELS version is available here:

The vehicle uses extra_10 to spawn with and without a bonnet scoop.

It is permissible for you to use the template provided to make and share your own livery designs for this vehicle.

I appreciate any constructive feedback so I may improve the vehicle and my own skills in the future.

    Prisoner Pod
I'm aware using the prisoner pod can be a bit clunky sometimes, and that AI police will tend to use the passenger side door to the cab instead of the actual pod. This is due to the way that the latest versions of LCPDFR use the prisoner-in-vehicle function. In an ideal world, LCPDFR would allow you to customise what seat/door is used for prisoners, but this is not yet the case

  2. Back again with another GTAV car mod. This time it's a stealth/unmarked version of the Vapid Interceptor, optimised for the fbi slot. Once again it comes courtesy of SkylineGTRFreak's unlocked models (via Yosuke and m4k3) after being livery-mapped and edited in various other ways by me.

Again, the model is unlocked in the hopes that we'll see modders paying greater attention to the great vehicles Rockstar have made, rather than just concentrating on the endless surge of crown vics and chargers.

Please advise me of any bugs or other feedback in the comments below or in my modding development thread.

**NB: I'm not 100% sure on the handling line I've provided. I'd imagine that the default fbi one should be fine though. If you have problems, just experiment. **

  3. SkylineGTRFreak has been doing wonders for the GTA IV community following work from Yosuke and M4k3 in converting GTA V vehicles to our favourite game. I'm also really thankful that SkylineGTRFreak has supported the community in such a way by providing some of his models unlocked for other models to customise further.

As soon as he had uploaded this one I grabbed it straight away and worked on it all day to produce something I've known the community was after.

So I present the Vapid Interceptor, ready for GTA IV, livery-mapped and with the standard Liberty City Police Department setup. I've also provided the model unlocked so that people can make their own customised versions in an effort to breathe further life into new and exciting areas of the GTA modding scene. I myself currently have an unmarked variant also underway optimised or the fbi slot. I'll most likely also work on an EVCS pack if I get the time.

Please advise me of any bugs or other feedback in the comments below or in my modding development thread.

    Thanks!

    UPDATES HAVE BEEN RELEASED
+ Version 1.1 fixes a couple of quick issues related to ped positions in the backseats (no more heads sticking out the top) and collision alignment issues related to the front bumper and pushbar.

+ Version 1.2 adds a police antenna to the roof the vehicle and I've included 2 of Yard1's LCPD liveries that more closely resemble the NYPD counterpart for those seeking more realism.

  4. This is essentially an updated version of the default Vapid Police Cruiser. It features multiple liveries (by Lt. Caine) as well as a number of updates that I made to the vehicle's collisions, the lightbar and the indicators.

I normally don't feel comfortable releasing a mod where I don't feel like much of my own original work has gone into it. Nevertheless, I received an immense amount of encouragement from the community to release it.

Please provide any feedback and constructive criticism here or in my Mods thread (here: ). This model is unlocked for two purposes; 1 - as a helpful tool to any prospective modders and, 2 - so that if you're desperate for a slightly tweaked version and I'm unable to help you out you are free to do it yourself.

  5. Maibtasu Police Vincent (in slicktop and lightbar variants) by Ekalb
    Version 2.1

    New version released!

I've almost totally rebuilt both models from the ground up with a number of bugs fixed, improved lighting setups, new liveries and more.
+ 2.1 solves the interior lighting units from spinning around in the fbi version and reduces the file size for both vehicles.

    ----------
As part of a new deal with Japanese automaker Maibatsu, law enforcement in Liberty City has rolled out two new variants of the Vincent 4-door sedan.

The first variant is a great replacement for the police2 slot and features a non-els modified Federal Signal Streethawk lightbar with rear-facing traffic advisor bar, police equipment, a pushrod and liveries for LCPD, LCPD Highway Patrol, NOOSE and Alderney State Troopers.

The second variant is the slicktop which is suitable to replace the fbi vehicle. It features grill mounted and rear-dash mounted non-els lights, police equipment and liveries for LCPD, LCPD Gang Unit (Stealth) and NOOSE Tactical response, as well as a blank livery for unmarked operations.

These vehicles are modified versions of original cars so they should fit well in your game world.

Packaged with the download are comprehensive readme files that will cover installation, livery support, handling settings, carcols settings and mod support (including co-ords for the Spotlight mod).

I appreciate any feedback and I'm open to suggestions and any issues that I can fix.

  6. The long-awaited compliment to my LAPD/LSPD style Buffalo! (Download here: if you haven't already)

This is obviously created with reference to LAPD and other Californian law enforcement agencies (LAPD, LA Sheriff, CHP) as well as the Los Santos Police Department in GTA: SA and GTA V. It features a non-els Federal Signal Arjent Lightbar (by f5544), as well as a modified Go Rhino style pushbar (also by f5544) and some other tweaks. It includes four liveries: a modern-style LCPD black and white livery to match the others, a Los Santos PD livery to match that from the earlier GTA V trailers, San Andreas Highway Patrol and Bone County Sheriff's Office.

The vehicle uses the 'extras' system to randomly spawn with different pushbar setups, from none at all to a full wrap-around bar.

The base Vapid is Lt. Caine's UV-mapped one, which I've made a number of adjustments to, including new rear-indicators and a numberplate now uv-mapped to the liveries. I am also yet to experience any issues with the windows breaking, but I have played with the collisions there.

  9. A brand new Police Buffalo mod to resemble the Los Santos Police Department and surrounding law enforcement agencies in San Andreas.

I created this with LAPD Dodge Chargers in mind, as well as the LSPD as seen in the trailer for GTA V. I've made all of the liveries, including the custom logos for Bone County Sheriff's Office and San Andreas Highway Patrol (resembling LA County Sheriff's Office and California Highway Patrol) as well as a black and white livery for the LCPD.

This vehicle uses the 'extras' feature to spawn with different pushbar setups. As it is a modification of one of the default Rockstar vehicles it should be relatively low in file size as well as fit in well to your game world.

The files are provided in open and unlocked format to encourage the modding community. The fantastic parts by f5544 have also been released by him as development resources for modders.

This vehicle took a lot of time to get into a state that I was happy to release it in. I'm prepared for there to be a minor collission bug but it should not affect gameplay nor really be noticeable. Please provide any feedback here on this page or in my download topic on this forum ().

  10. Contained here are two variants of the 90 Series lightbar distributed by Hazard Systems, one with LED modules and another with halogen lamps.
The lightbar is currently not prepared for compatability with the Emergency Lighting System Mod.
An interesting component of this lightbar is that it features an LED messageboard that is functional when used in conjunction with any mod that allows the player to control the vehicle's indicators, such as the Indicator Script or the Strobes mod.
Although the vehicles included in this package will function correctly ingame if you wish to test the lightbar out, it is intended more as a resource for modders to include on their own vehicles.

Additional modification to non-els by Sam.

    Other:
Crown Victoria base vehicle by Chasez, Lt.Caine, Bxbugs123 and Sam.
UV-mapped Vapid police cruiser by Lt. Caine.

    NOTES
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You are free to use this lightbar (or any modification of it) in your own vehicle mods, however if released to the public they must be accompanied by adequate acknowledge of the lightbar authors, namely KevinDV, Sam and Ekalb.

To function with the indicators, the LED messageboard is made up of two components, one that is attached to the right rear indicator and one that is attached to the left rear indicator.
Templates have been included for custom messages or to allow you to create your own.

The halogen takedown lamps in the centre of the lightbar are attatched to the headlights of the vehicle so they may be controlled with them by the player.

Please report any bugs you find so that this resourcemay be improved.

  11. Another addition to my Buffalo series!

This one comes with alternating lighting setups using the extra components feature. This means that sometimes the vehicle will spawn with extra1 (a Code 3 MX7000 lightbar) or extra2 (slicktop with grill and rear deck lights). What this hopefully means is that you can have marked and unmarked cars spawning from the same slot if you use fully marked and unmarked liveries.

It's important to state that this vehicle has become very similar to one that Lt. Caine made back in 2009, his NLSP Buffalo (http://gtapolicemods...hp?do=file&id=1). My mod does not use any of Lt. Caine's content and I did not make it in an attempt to plagiarise what he had done. I created it based on what suggestions community members made and it has just happened to end up relatively similar. I hope I have tried to deliver something slightly different though and I do believe Lt.Caine/Luxart Modifications deserve substantial credit for his contributions to the modding community.

I continue to learn new things about modelling and for this project what I had to deal with a lot was collision setup. Due to a bug that I couldn't resolve the mx7000 lightbar unfourtunately has no collission, but on the plus side the collision for the rest of the vehicle should be working perfectly. I've also figured out how to fix an issue which I believe has plagued many of my cars in that you couldn't shoot any of the vehicle's occupants through the glass. With this Buffalo, that should be possible - so enjoy!

The vehicle remains relatively low in file size meaning it shouldn't cause as much of a strain on games or systems as other modded vehicles well, and the fact that it is a modified default vehicle should allow it to fit well into your game world.

The model is provided in open and unlocked format in order to encourage members of the modding community. If you wish to share liveries of this vehicle, a template is provided. However if you wish to share modified versions of the vehicle files themselves, fair credit to all contributed authors, myself included, is expected.

I did not distribute this to a test group but I believe it is more or less bug free but if you do identify any issues, please post them here or in my modding thread and I'll work on a resolution.

  12. Bravado Buffalo Police [LCPD Vector] by Ekalb
    Version 1.0
APOLOGIES: I have replaced the file with one that actually includes the vehicle!
Just like the one in EFLC but slightly better!

Renewal of the contract between the state of Liberty and the car manufacturer Bravado saw the addition of two new models from the Buffalo class of sedans to state and local level law enforcement agencies.

The second of these models is a new and improved Buffalo for LCPD general duties police use. It features a non-ELS Vector style (the same as the original police cruiser and police patrol cars) in addition to a prisoner divider, illuminating PC and a functional traffic advisor bar. Bravado engineers have also worked tirelessly around the clock to discover how to place different markings on the LCPD fleet, meaning that now the vehicle supports multiple liverys. The team at Bravado has also run short of their supply of physics-defying unbreakable glass and are now sad to report that the glass on the door windows and on the lightbar will now break realistically when damaged!

The vehicle remains relatively low in file size meaning it shouldn't cause as much of a strain on games or systems as other modded vehicles well, and the fact that it is a modified default vehicle should allow it to fit well into your game world.

As I continue to hopefully improve my skills in gta vehicle modding, any feedback is appreciated.

  13. Bravado Buffalo Police Interceptor by Ekalb
    Version 1.0

Renewal of the contract between the state of Liberty and the car manufacturer Bravado saw the addition of two new models from the Buffalo class of sedans to state and local level law enforcement agencies.

The first of these models is the Buffalo Police Interceptor, designed specifically for the controlled and effective delivery of law enforcement during dangerous, high speed pursuits. Featuring three different pushbar configurations including a full-wrap around bar as well as a more extensive police equipment allocation than its older, unmarked counterpart, the Bravado Buffalo Police Interceptor is ideal for law enforcement at the highest level.

The National Office of Security Enforcement, as part of the establishment of its new road transport enforcement division, added a number of these vehicles to its fleet. Allocations were also made to local Liberty City police departments to compliment the Police Stinger in their approaches to speed enforcement.

14. Vapid Police Cruiser Slicktop by Ekalb
    Version 1.0

This is my first publicly released vehicle mod so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

What I have done here is remove the original lightbar from the vehicle, add lights in the rear dash and onto the pushrod as well as add a traffic advisor bar that is attached to the vehicles indicator system. The vehicle supports 4 liveries including a blank livery that will allow it to spawn as both a marked and an unmarked police car all in the one vehicle slot.

It's a perfect replacement for the original police car as doing so will allow both marked and now unmarked police cars to patrol liberty city. As it is a modification of an original car it should also fit well in your game world.

Inside the download file is a comprehensive readme that will cover installation, handling settings (same as the original vehicle), carcols settings to have some variation in the unmarked car as well as instructions on mod support.
