Officer John Talboty was killed in the morning of Saturday, September 6th. The Officer was responding to a drunken disturbance when his car flew off the road and hit a pole killing him. He is remembered by his wife and two kids, Jeff and James. His funeral will be held on Sunday, September 14th at 9 in the morning.


Officer Talboty was also a Iraq war veteran with a purple heart. Friends of his say he was a loving, kind man.

Officer Lebron Jefferson was shot in the early morning of Thursday, July 10th 2014. The suspect was James Forney he was sentenced to life without parole. Officer Jefferson is survived by his wife and two daughters, Lainey, and Audrey. Officer Jefferson's funeral will be held on July 13th 2014.

At approximately 3:46 PM on April 13, a 3-story structure fire was started at an apartment complex on Seymour Ave. All residents were evacuated from the structure without harm. FDLC Ladder 1 was called to the scene to use the ladder to enter the structure. The FDLC had to attack the fire internally to fully extinguish it. Demolition of the structure is planned within the next month, and is planning to be rebuilt on the same plot.
