I've had this conversation quite a few times, and if you ask me, I believe the majority of "mod theft" comes from people paywalling items. There are people and sites who believe it's ok to republish someone else's work purely because they believe mods should be free. While I entirely believe that many more things should be free than what is, I don't condone stealing other people's work. However, you also have people who republish mods for the fun of it.

I can understand paywalls for vehicles primarily, as bases of most models can be upwards of $100's of dollars, and let alone 3D modeling for vehicles cost money for subscriptions to said services. What I don't understand is why things like textures are paywalled when I could do the same exact thing if I wanted.

What is really annoying is the 3D modeling for clothing components... I've only recently gotten into 3D modeling/converting Sims 4 clothing (with creator permissions, as they seem to be much more lenient and friendly), and I had to learn from them in order to make clothing from scratch. Most female components nowadays, for LSPDFR even, are behind paywalls when I can get the male version free.

Back from the grave, it is yours truly with a project in the works. Through reddit and other outlets I have been able to obtain voice talents for this personal project that has been going through almost an entire year of development hell and now my series is beginning to take flight.

What is This and Why Should I Care?
Now or Never Cops (name derived from a defunct VC:MP roleplay server) is a youtube series that was created during the heyday of VC:MP for youtube. This project follows the continuation of that series into the GTA V universe. Following the events of the 3rd season, a rogue police chief is on the run and has found his way into Los Santos. After a year long search and trails going cold, he re-emerges into Sandy Shores, a small town where nobody even knows who he is. After a corrupt transfer from another sheriff's department, he emerges as a new deputy to the town and tries to regain his life as a fresh start.

How can you become a part of this, you ask? I am still filling a few major roles and minor roles for voice over talent. You do not need GTA V to be a part of this as all scenes have been filmed on my local machine.

Above is the first 5 minutes of episode 1. As there are still pieces to fill (and mistakes to correct, I am well aware of the sudden black screen. That will be fixed on the final render of the episode), I will get closer and closer to finally releasing all 10 episodes on a more consistent basis.

These are some shots for a new youtube series that will continue the story arc of my GTA VC Machinima Now or Never Cops, where a rogue police chief on the run from multiple agencies (VCPD/FHP/USM/LSPD) starts off anew in a town where nobody knows who he is (via "Hollywood Logic," there's small realism with the element of stretching things to help further the plot.). The trails outside of the city have become very cold, as the search heats up inside.

These vehicles are part of the Sandy Shores Sheriff's Department (SSSD).

Trying to capture the feel of a very small town with minimalist options on a vehicle.

Once I am able to figure out these movie making mods for V, I will be looking for voice talents with quality microphones to do voice work. If you are interested I will open up the door for voice talents. Most of the scenes will be filmed on my own machine.

(Also working on getting the resolution/textures right. If you have any tips as to how to get the textures higher without compromising performance, i'm open to it.)
